We are heading back to Disney during a "low crowd" time. Staying on site 6 days (with arrival day included) We've been 4-5 times. We typically have done Rope Drop and stayed until 7pm as kids are younger--with usually a party night in there for a parade!

This time...

DAD doesn't want to wake at crack of dawn. And wants things laid back. However, he is also the type that wants to ride everything and doesn't want to take a break--"we are here! let's make the most of it!" I think we'd arrive to parks 9am-10am if he has his way.

SON will be a TWEEN. He's here for the RIDES--and the STAR WARS stuff. He will always want to meet MICKEY though.

DAUGHTER will be 6. She has been before and will ride everything...but her memory is sketchy, e.g., she swears she met Elsa. She didn't. :) She loves parades and says she loves characters (and will want to meet the princesses) but freezes when she meets them. She begged to go to Disney--when we asked why she said--"The pools, the food, the hotel." :)

MOM is over character meals. I feel the meal is always rushed. Soon as we put a bit in our mouths the next character comes. So I'd like to make the MEAL part a little less hectic. I would also like to see the nighttime entertainment but worry about my kids--as bedtime is 7:30 pm and when we go late--we pay the price the next day :)

LOOSE PLAN (I'll fine tune days as crowd calendars get clearer...I'm more interested in thoughts on how doable during lower crowd times and suggestion for things to do)

EPCOT on ARRIVAL DAY: FP+ (Frozen ride...if able) and some secondary stuff; Biegertan to eat and entertain (never been).

EPCOT DAY: Arrive after rope drop; FP+ for Soarin' and other rides. Snack a bit throughout the world; back to resort for afternoon swim and head to Disney Springs for evening and try a new restaurant (???)

Animal Kingdom DAY: Late Morning arrival; will figure out how to get the key rides in; they won't want to do the trails again; will want to do the new nighttime show (it will definitely be open then)...and waiting to hear if they do a dinner package for seats to determine TS dinner; Kids have seen NEMO and LION KING--so debating about Flights of WONDER or taking the train out to that petting zoo place (we've never been there.)

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOUS DAY: Late morning arrival. Sign up for Jedi if spots still available. we will want to do most this park now offers minus the disney jr stuff and only the STAR WARS meet and greets. I am thinking I'll need to FP+ Tower of Terror; Star Tours; TSM. Then try for RnR; Great Movie Ride; Little Mermaid; Frozen sing-a-long for additional Fps and take what we get. We will want to stay for Star Wars and maybe the desert party instead of a TS...hoping it will still be offered in fall.

MAGIC KINGDOM: I'll do 2-days and feel good about planning this park. I will drag DH to rope drop on one of the days and try for a BOG breakfast. the other of the days we can go in later and stay through the evening shows and try for BOG dinner or LTT. Maybe a party to try too...we'll see!

This will fill us up and seems rather laid back of a schedule. I have potentially 3 late evenings (HS; AK; MK) and I think we can do this. Initial thoughts before I start planning table services?

Tell DAD to sleep in and you'll meet him at the park. You don't want to do Jedi Training sign up too late in the morning.... because you want to be able to say "I have a fast pass scheduled for that time, can I please have a different one."

Your trip sounds great and you don't really need our input. Have fun.

when are your dates? As you may not find them as slow as you think.

7:30pm bedtime? wow, my 4 year old consistently went to bed at 9pm (10pm when we watched the fireworks) and then got up at 6:30 to 7am the next day. Her normal bedtime at home is 6:45pm.

take a few days after the vacation to recover and maximize your trip to WDW
