Hey my DIS Meet friends!

How is everyone today? I hope you are all well.

SilverAngel, I'm so sorry you're having to go through the stress of nearly losing your job - that is absolutely no fun at all. We're here for you if you need to talk, vent, or anything else!

Cheryl, that is so exciting that you get to go to Paris! That is one place I want to visit someday. You are going to have so much fun!

I am not going to be online much for the next 5 days because my UNT music audition is this Saturday and I really must focus all my attention on that. I am so nervous! I've been practicing and I feel I am ready, but it's going to be scary playing solo in front of 5-7 judges. That combined with the fact that I am going up against kids nearly half my age and my audition determines whether or not I get to attend UNT in the fall and how much scholarship money I'll get if I pass the audition. I really need hugs and lots of Pixie Dust! Wish me luck! I am going to miss talking to all of you, but I'll play catch-up on Sunday.

... of course, there are several other people who are definitely interested in coming, so the list is bound to get longer.

The BBB thing is still in the early planning stage (obviously!), but there are plenty of people already on board. The plan is to go the afternoon of MNSSHP.

BBB also ties into the costume theme idea of being DISney Princesses. IMO, people can dress up as whatever they like, because as long as we're all wearing our LGMHs, people will know we're together.

Some of us are also planning an informal little mini meet the following day (Oct. 6th) to go to MGM to ride TOT/RNR as a group, open to pretty much anyone who wants to come along!

So I think that's pretty much it, as far as our plan of action goes. This is going to be amazing!

Hi Lindsey and welcome back! I hope your move went smoothly! How lucky you are to have Mickey and the gang as neighbors!

This thread really has taken off! Cheryl might get to go to Paris in May and she may have to cancel her Disney trip because of it. But she's really exited about going to Paris! I know I'd jump at the chance!

I am auditioning for the College of Music at the University of North Texas this Saturday (I play clarinet) and my audition determines whether or not I get accepted to the school and how much scholarship money I'll receive. I am very nervous but I just choose to believe I'm going to make it in!

Most of us have decided to go to BBB on Friday before we go to the MK for LTT and MNSSHP, but we haven't decided on a specific time yet. I am booking a room at the Pop in about 2-3 weeks and I think most of us staying at the Pop are going to request the 50's section. I think we have decided on lime green shirts with our DIS names on them and a logo that someone from the Creative DISigns board is working on for us. Some of us (me and Jen included) are also wearing lime green crocs and bringing our lime green baggallinis! We're going to blind everyone in our paths!

Ladies, let me know if I missed anything! I really shouldn't be online - I need to be practicing, but it is sooooo hard to break away from the DIS!

Carol and Jenny pretty much filled you in pretty well. This party is going to be a blast!

The disney princess theme isnt official its just for who ever wants to dress up with us. We didnt want anyone to feel uncomfortable and feel like they had to dress up. Also i posted on the disign board to see if anyone would be intrested in making a "logo" for our shirts and heres the results http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1330883

I think the official count is up to 12. This is seriously going to be a blast!

I got mine at my local Hallmark store, however though I only get a womens 5 or 6 so that might still be considered kids, not sure, hope that helps.

Yeah, they are still only in kiddie sizes, but women with smaller feet can wear them. I am 5' 7, so that doesn't work for me! I need a size 9! I hope they decide to bring out the lime green Crocs for those Disney adult fans! Don't they know about all of us on The DIS!?

Hi There, I get in around 12:30 on the 5th, but if you all wanted to head to BBB before then, I could always meet you all there. Its up to all of you, I think this is going to be so much fun, I can't wait!!!!

I am definitely coming in for MNSSHP!! I am bringing a friend for a girls weekend. We'll be arriving late Thursday night and leaving Monday late evening. We're staying at the Dolphin on a teacher discount. I told her she will have to wear a shirt.

I just can't stay away! I didn't want to fall too far behind so I have time for a quick post. . .

Lindsey, don't feel bad about not being able to get the Disney crocs - I really wanted them too, but I am 5'9" and I need a size 10! Yep, I got my dad's feet. . .lucky me! Have you seen the new Crocs Jibbitz? They are these super cute little embellishments you can put on your crocs! Here's a website to view them: Crocs Jibbitz. I am getting a regular pair of lime green Crocs and adding the Disney Jibbitz to them! The only problem is I want one of each and there are over 30 of them! At about $3.00 each, that would be a most expensive pair of Crocs!

I really love the very first design that the DISigns board posted, but the one where "what happends in Disney stays in Disney was cute too!

I am getting in to WDW on Thursday night, October 4 and leaving on Sunday, October 7. So any time for BBB will be great with me - I am flexible!

Allrighty, I better get back to practicing. I had a great lesson yesterday and my clarinet teacher says I will have no problem getting accepted to UNT. YAY! That really boosted my confidence. My best friend James and I leave for Denton tomorrow - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! It's so close now.
