We found Wishes to be clean, organized and welcoming. The cruise was at capacity and we never had a problem locating a place at the buffet, the pirate show or the pools. The weather was perfect for the whole cruise - warm (not hot) and breezy. There are two elevator areas instead of three but each area has 8 elevators, although only the forward elevators go up to Level 13. We didn't find this a problem. The adult area is smaller, with a larger infinity pool and two seating areas for staying dry with your lower leg submerged. We never had a problem finding seating. The cabin gift was a beach bag - canvas with blue bottom. The Gold cabin gift was a passport wallet. The DVC gifts were a large magnet for the door, which could be broken up into smaller magnets, buttons noting the year of our original purchase, luggage tags, pop socket and lip balm.

We arrived the day before the cruise to use the DCL transportation from BL to PC. The arrival at the Port is much more organized than 2018. The CM's keep everyone together as they directed passengers towards the security check in. The boarding document QR codes were scanned multiple times. My BIL never updated his Safe Passage account with this cruise reservation so he was directed to a special area where DCL did this for him. I knew the accounts had to be updated because our Safe Passage account kept noting 'no active reservation' but apparently his accounts didn't have this notification. Because DCL transportation picked us up at 9a we arrived at the port to stand around for an hour, after going thru security, before boarding groups were called. DCL still does First Family, boarding pictures and Family Announcement upon boarding. We tried for the TS lunch but were directed to the wrong restaurant. We decided on the Marketplace because it was empty. We all liked how the food is placed on the plate by crew versus the general scrum of the original buffet. We learned to tell the exact servings or the crew keeps piling on the food. As advertised, the chicken fingers were juicy and tasty - YUM.

Security told us that our rooms would be ready at 3p and, even though the boarding area indicated 2p, Security was correct. Our luggage arrived about 30 minutes later. Our stateroom was 8192, which is aft on the right side along the back of the ship. The room is smaller with a chair instead of a couch with a large veranda holding comfortably 2 loungers as well as the usual 2 chairs with a table. I found the 3 sectioned closet a bit different however there was more than enough storage for us. After we were settled we left to find our muster area, checked in with the crews help and went to the sports lounge to relax before dinner, listening to the muster video on the way. The bars are accepting the beer tokens, which the bartender said was a recent change. DH was given a token for his next cruise. There was a formal 4:30/5p muster but as we already checked in we didn't need to attend. We ended the evening at 1923 which was very nice.

We spent our Nassau day exploring the ship, finding all the theaters, restaurants, lounges, stores, watching Moana on the family deck from the mezzanine, and enjoying the adult area. Before dinner we attended the DVC event, which was an engaging trivia program. That night dinner was at Marvel and I spent most the time watching the video so dinner was very leisurely. Castaway Cay day was wonderful, as usual. The food was a bit warm for picnic food but the lines were quick. We found the stores at CC had more shirts we liked so we never did buy anything on the ship. We enjoyed Thor, Thunder and Love in the theater. Our last dinner was Arundel. This dinner was the most like a theater production. The food was different but I found plenty to eat versus my BIL and SIL. All the dinners are a bit dependent on adventurous eating, with Arundel being the most adventurous.

We would have no problem cruising again on Wishes, which we are scheduled to do in March in the same stateroom, but I am hoping the Treasure cruise schedule will be released in time for us to change our March cruise. Fingers Crossed.
