Our new puppy comes home!

Having had to wait since march for him, I couldn't be more excited. The first night went well, he cried in the crate for a while, but slept until 6 this morning. Not bad

Anyway, here's some pics. We're still working on a name: Indy or Jasper are the top 2 right now

What a little cutie! I am going with everyone else, definately Jasper!

My inlaws just got a golden puppy last weekend. The first night she made all kinds of noise. I will have to give them a call and see how she is doing.

My dog was really good when he was a baby, but never did like the crate. He likes laying UNDER my bed instead!

Whatever you do - DON'T break down and let him sleep in your bed with you when he cries.

We couldn't take it when Jazz cried non-stop the first week after we brought her home...she was fine in her crate during the day (well - we guess she was) but at night, when we were there, she HATED it. We finally relented and put her in the bed with us.

yes - we got peed on a few times.

4 years later we have a 50lb dog (fatty!) still sleeping with us. And we bought the Queen size bed just to accomodate the 3 of us.

Another vote for Jasper!! He is adorable. My bosses just bought 2 miniature schnauzers as well, a boy and a girl (brother and sister) from a patient who is a breeder and they are the cutest puppies. Their names are Trinity (girl) and Neo (boy) (named after characters in the Matrix apparently). They bring them to work almost every day (in the crate) and I get to snuggle and play with them whenever there is a dull moment. They are quite the characters and I really hope that you enjoy your new baby boy! Congrats!
