Our neighbor just passed away

I just received news that our neighbor passed away yesterday. He had been hospitalized for a couple of weeks fighting an infection. We had noticed that he had lost weight lately, but just thought that since he was a big man that his doctor must have put him on a diet. Apparently, he had been battling cancer for a while, but he and his wife hid his condition from everyone so the news came as a real shock. I feel so sorry for the family since they will be together over Thanksgiving, but will be attending his service the next day.
Please say a prayer for his family. This holiday will be a hard one for them.
