Dh and I are taking a 3 night Anniversary trip during the F&W Festival (never been!). Any thoughts on our plans for dining?? (A few notes...DH and I loved Kona Cafe when we tried it for lunch last year, and we're staying at the Poly, so we want to try it for dinner this time. We also have it down for a lunch b/c it's convenient with our touring plan that day (Sunday), and we did love it....but I wouldn't mind trying somewhere else, too, if it didn't require additional travel time.) Thank you in advance!

Friday:
Arrive 1pm...go into Epcot for F&W festival booths 2-6pm
7-12am MNSSHP (first time!)- counter service dinner

Saturday:
Breakfast- grab something light, then go to Future World 9a-12p
Lunch- Kona Cafe 1pm, then pool 2-4
Dinner- Party for the Senses 5-9pm

Sunday:
Breakfast- grab something light, then MGM 9a-12p
Lunch- 1pm Wolfgang Puck Cafe (table service), then Disney Quest 2-6pm
Dinner- 7pm Kona Cafe, then pool and watch fireworks on Poly beach

Monday:
Breakfast- grab something quick and have some snacks!
Late lunch- 2pm Liberty Tree Tavern
5:30pm- Depart for airport

Looks like you have everything in line and planned out to a T! I will say I have never been to the Kona Cafe or Wolfgang Pucks Cafe for dinner, but I have made an ADR for them both when we go in Sept. I HAVE been to the F&W festival! I try to go Every year and MUST hit France for the creme brulee and escargot! We usually enter through the WS so I can just veer right and a short walk over the bridge and I am standing by the Eiffel tower!

Have fun!

quick question??

what is "Party for the Senses" ??

haven't heard of that one

Kona Cafe is a great place, but what about something else for dinner on Sunday night? Do you have your own car? I was thinking you could stop at the Boardwalk on the way back from DTD and have dinner at Spoodles.

We will be at the F&W Festival and P4TS in Oct, too! We can't wait! You know there is a chance you will be too full from snacking at the booths to eat anything else. :goodvibes That's what we're planning. :thumbsup2

Looks great! Would you consider Ohana instead of your second Kona Cafe? It is one of our faves and has a lot of the same atmosphere as Kona.

Thank you, and please keep the ideas coming! We actually just tried Ohana in April, so I think we'd prefer to try Kona for dinner since we've never done dinner there. However, I wouldn't mind trying lunch elsewhere on Saturday if we can think of a convenient place that won't get us too far off track.

The Wolfgang Puck Cafe ...is that the one in DTD? If so, we went there and I'm gonna have to say it wasn't all that. There is another sandwhich shop in that area that I read some good reviews but cant remember the name, sorry! :confused3 But...Also dont forget...if you love chocolate and icecream there is that Geridallis icecream shop there too!!! I say the two of you split a big sandwhich and head on over there for dessert! mmmmm! :goodvibes

The sandwich shop is Earl of Sandwich and it is wonderful! Great food and great prices! We usually go there then head over to Ghiradelli's for dessert!

As far as a different place for lunch on Saturday you could do a few things since it looks like you are planning to come back to your hotel. You could try the GF Cafe for lunch or try something in the WS since you will be in Epcot in the morning; Epcot - Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Rose & Crown.

One other suggestion is to go to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club along the Boardwalk.
