Okay, so I’ve been meaning to do this for a long time… our wedding/honeymoon is coming up! Our Disneymoon will be May 19-29, and we will be staying at the AKL… we’re so excited to have a savannah view room (even the construction can’t put a damper on it)! :groom: :bride:

We have 10-day park-hopper passes with the water parks and more options (don’t really need them for all 10 days, but it was like $3 more, so we figured why not? Just in case). I made our ressies months ago and am now going a bit crazy trying to tweek things just a tad in order to make things run as smoothly as possible. Also, we figure we will rent a car from the 20th-28th.

So, here goes… PLEASE let me know if this seems impossible, I’m worried I’m trying to fit too much in:

Me: I’m 26 years old and have only been to Disney once, when I was about 12… I can’t WAIT to go again!

My fiancé: He’s a 27-year old Star Wars freak (too bad SWW was pushed back :guilty: ) who has NEVER BEEN TO DISNEY. We thought our honeymoon was the perfect time to go and just be able to be the big kids that we are. :cloud9:

Our (hopefully-not-too-insane?) itinerary:

Day 1: Saturday, May 19:
Arrive in Orlando at around 3pm, take the Magical Express to the AKL. We may take a quick trip to either downtown Disney or the Boardwalk, or POSSIBLY Disney Studios if we’re not too tired from the wedding the day before and traveling. We have late (9:00) reservations to eat at Jiko (I had made them late before we had our plane tix since I didn’t know when we’d be arriving). We’ll probably explore the hotel and relax for most of this day.

Day 2: Sunday, May 20:
Breakfast TBD, either quick snacks at the Mara (we’re on the dining plan), or a stop in at Boma. We’ll head off to the AK and try to get on the safari bright and early. We’ll have lunch at the Flame Tree Barbeque and head back to the hotel and pick up the rental car from Avis that we’ll have for the next week. We have 6:25 reservations at the Kona Café, and will probably head to the MK afterwards (will there be time for going back to the hotel?) for fireworks and EMH.

Day 3: Monday, May 21:
Not sure about breakfast yet, may eat at Boma… anyone know if we need reservations for early morning breakfast? We’ll probably do a water park today, or possibly Disney Studios if we don’t feel like the water park. In the evening, we’ll go hang out at Downtown Disney and eat at Wolfgang Puck Café.

Day 4: Tuesday, May 22:
Head out to MK early for morning extra magic hours (maybe grab a quick snack at the Mara). Breakfast ressies for 10:25 at The Crystal Palace. After we eat, depending on crowds, we’ll either stick around for a little bit or head back to the hotel. That evening, we have dinner reservations at Le Cellier at 7:00. I’m hoping we’ll have time to catch Illuminations at 9 after we eat.

Day 5: Wednesday, May 23:
Driving to Universal Studios – any suggestions on what time we need to leave for this??? We took advantage of the $86 deal, since we’d like to visit both parks and CityWalk – and if we love it, maybe we’ll make room to come back later in the week before we leave. We also spent a little extra to buy their version of FastPass, to help us make better use of time. We have reservations at Emeril’s for either 7 or 7:30 (I forget) and will possibly go to see Shrek 3 (it’s coming out on our wedding day!) at the theater there.

Day 6: Thursday, May 24:
We’re heading out to Melbourne, FL (any tips on the best way to get there???) for a Weird Al concert. My fiancé and I actually met ten years ago because of our mutual love of Weird Al – how perfect is it that he’s going to be touring in the area while we’re on our honeymoon in Disney???

Day 7: Friday, May 25:
We may get room service this morning since we’ll have been out late the night before. I don’t think we should use our meal credits on this, cause it counts as 2, and usually I just have bacon and toast. He’s another story. But I think it’ll still be cheaper to pay for it…maybe. We’ll probably head out to Epcot, get a quick snack/lunch at the Boulangerie (sp?) Patisserie counter in France. Later that evening we have reservations for California Grill at 8:00. I’m hoping to be able to request a window seat so we can watch the fireworks. After dinner we may head back to the hotel, or we may head back to the MK for EMH.

Day 8: Saturday, May 26:
Today we’ll take it easy in the morning again and head out and do mini-golf, maybe rent a tandem bike or something… does Disney have swan boats? I always wanted to ride in swan boats, and it’d be perfect for our honeymoon. :) Not sure what we’ll do for lunch yet, but that evening, we have 7:00 dinner reservations at the Brown Derby – which we’ll probably pay for out-of-pocket After that, I’m hoping to hop over and catch Fantasmic and hang out at Disney Studios for awhile.

Day 9: Sunday, May 27:
I have the character breakfast at Ohana’s scheduled for today, but I’m considering changing it to the last day, so we have something cool to do that morning… any thoughts? Plus, we want to go to the AK after that, so it seems inefficient to leave the AKL, go to Ohana’s, and then go back to the AK. We may stop over at the Beach Club today, since I went there with my family in ’92 and would love to see it again. If there’s time, I’d like to hit DS again. I’m going to make 8:00 reservations for Bongos for that evening. We’ll probably head over to the MK afterwards in order to try and catch Wishes and Spectromagic – it will be the last night we spend at MK.

Day 10: Monday, May 28;
It’s Memorial Day, so I’m guessing the parks will be packed! We have reservations for the Kona Café again for breakfast, but I’m considering cancelling them since we will have just been at Ohana’s the day before, AND we’re having dinner here earlier in the trip. If we haven’t been to DS again since our first trip, we may head there today (it’s EMH, though, so we’d have to get there early – another reason to not do the 9am Kona Café ressies)… if not, we might do Epcot. It kind of depends on how we feel. My fiancé wants to make sure to go to Earl of Sandwich sometime during this trip, so we’ll probably do that for lunch. For our last dinner, we have reservations at the Grand Floridian Café. After that, we may go check out the EMH at the AK and then back to our hotel for our last night.

Day 11: Tuesday, May 29:
Our last day. Sigh. Like I said before, I’m thinking of rescheduling our ohana breakfast for this day… our plane doesn’t leave till the early evening (if I remember correctly), so we could even have time to do a park (I’m thinking DS?) if we wanted. Or we may just laze and just try and take in the Disneyness of everything one last time. We’ll see…

So there it is… I’d really appreciate any input you have! I’ve never planned a Disney vacation before, so I probably need all the help I can get!! Thanks everyone!
