our maple tree has buds!

the teeniest of tiniest little buds on it, but they are there! LIFE AFTER WINTER IN CHICAGO!
I realy needed ot see this today as the forecast is not pretty for the week..., but YAY!

I am further east than you, and just a little south, but I when I was cleaning up my yard after the terrible wind storm last Wednesday, I saw a twig from a maple tree that had buds on it.

I mentioned to my family the other day that I think that we have turned the corner towards spring. The days are longer, the sun's position in the sky is rising, and there are only 5 more weeks left in "real" winter.

Puts a little spring in your step!

We are in Maryland and we had crocus blooming over the weekend. Today we have snow.

Here's more hope for you...
we are in AR- had a really bad Ice storm a few weeks ago.

In the past week we have seen-
Robin Redbreasts -- lots of them
We've smelled skunks- just a few of them!

This morning, I looked at our Dogwood and saw a teeny teeny tiny leaf just coming out.

And the best of all...
the Forsythia is blooming it's heart out.

Hold on just a bit longer-
Spring will be here soon!
