Hey everyone. Well were home safe and feeling the depression setting in already
The one consolation was it was great to see our cats again, they seemed happy to see us too.
Our flight back was great, PE is definitely the way to go, so much more room and storage space, and real china and cutlery. Unfortunately there was a bit of a delay but we made most of it up on the way back.
We had an amazing holiday full of amazing experiences, maybe not enough rest and sleep but it was definitely worth it. I will write a full trip report when we our unpacked and settled back in, although my parents and Sophie are coming up next week so it may take a bit longer. Anyway here our our highs and lows:
LOWS
Not many really and nothing major
* Ohana was a bit of a let down - although its still really good it didn't live up till last time
* Disney service - in general it was great but it seems to be slipping in some area's and we did experience some rude and grumpy servers
* Our parasailing getting cancelled due to winds and not being able to fit it in again
* Parking at Coronado Springs - everyone, cast members and conventioners were parking in the guest lot although they had there own parking too. I saw people struggling to their cars at the back of the lots with luggage and kids whilst cast members were parked right near the front
* Coming home :cry:
HIGHS
So many but here are the main ones
* Staying at the Polynesian - a beautiful resort, great service and so convenient. And we had the most magnificent view, it was perfect
* Staying at the Yacht Club - another great resort, great location, great pool and another great view
* Our Illuminations Cruise - I booked it as a surprise for Nick and it was brilliant, and he got me a white chocolate Mickey with strawberries
* Discovery Cove - amazing like usual
* The Royal Pacific - a lovely resort and it great being able to walk to City Walk. And those Front of Line passes were so cool
* Seaworld Shark Dive and Crystal River Manatee swim- both so cool
* Hot air balloon ride - an amazing experience
* The Blue Man Group - amazing, so creative, funny and different
* La Nouba - amazing as usual
* Hoop-dee-doo Musical Revue - brilliant show, great food, great table
* The Princess and Pirate Party - it was really good, the crowds were so low and the parade and fireworks were fabulous
* Wishes - I have never realized how amazing they are, we saw them 4 times from 4 different views
* Great restaurants - we had some great food, our top ones off hand were old favorites Sharks Underwater Grill, Tchoup Chop and the Cheesecake Factory, and some great new ones including Texas de Brazil, Yachtsman Steakhouse, California Grill and Le Cellier
* Great weather - it was so hot and sunny nearly the whole time. We had a bit of rain on the first evening and then none again until 3 days before we came home
* Great crowds - the longest we waited was 20 minutes, even the bigs rides had short waits (except Peter Pan which was an hour as usual)
* The mustang - Nick absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave it
* The segway tour - it was really good, Nick now wants one
I think thats all but there was so many amazing things its hard to name them all
Thanks for joining me everyone and for all your nice words
