Just returned from an 8 day trip at POR...May 8th-15th....no dreams but we did have a few magical moments (see below). We say a lot of the dream fastpasses...I seen at least one group everyday during our 8 days...and I seen them in every park...we just barely missed getting them by one queue at Dinosaur (the group behind us received them)....did not see anyone wearing YOMD ears or lanyards nor did we see (or hear of) anyone winning the castle stay...I thought for sure we would win the day we were scheduled to leave...I had already prepared my husband that if this happened we WERE staying one more night!
Oh, yeah....I almost forgot.. We also seen a white limo pull away from the front of POR either May14th or May 15th (can't remember exact date)...did not see who got in or out of it, but it was definitely a great dream for someone!
*My daughters and I were given certificates at EPCOT for playing trashcan basketball (we were on a last minute mission by ourselves to see the butterfly house before our departure)
*My 2 year old son was given a pull-back car at the Magic Kingdom for racing Mater in a car race (this really helped because he had been throwing a fit right before this very moment!)
*When getting ready to wait for the Magical Express bus to take us back to the airport my 9 year old daughter went with me to retrieve our carry-on bags from the bell-service at POR. A very nice gentleman CM struck up a conversation with her and after giving us our bags told us to meet him back at the Magical Express bus stop because he had a special gift for her....after a few minutes her returned with a special limited edition Dumbo pin...he then apologized saying that he was not able to locate the exact pin that he was looking for. We, of course, thanked him profusely and thought it was very kind. A few minutes later, the nice man returned again telling us he had located the pin he wanted my daughter to have....it was the special Tinkerbell pins!! I was so excited!!!
My 9 year old opened them and without prompting, handed her sister the other....very nice way to end a trip since they were fighting the entire trip...I guess it was my nine year old's way of saying "I am sorry"....heartwarming!
