This was our final day. :guilty: We were being picked up at the Marriot at 1330 by RS transport and after some discussion decided we would spend our last morning in the park. We had considered staying at the hotel and trying out the pool but in the end Disney won !! :cheer2:

We said goodbye to our lovely little houses (until January for me and Jess and until May for everyone else)

Hannah and Jenny were on a fridge magnet buying mission. Jenny had bought one the night before for Hannah’s granny and Hannah had decided she liked it so much they needed one too. Whilst this shopping frenzy was going on (they ended up buying three more magnets ! ) I took Kenny , Bruce and Jess to Salon Mickey.

After that we all headed up Main Street (for the last time this trip) and into Fantasyland. Jess met Princess Aurora (sorry no pic) at the front of the Castle who called her a little princess which made her day.
We all headed off to re-do our favourites IASW , Buzz , Autopia .

Bruce and Hannah had a final ride on the teacups (Kenny took this fab picture !)

whilst Jess and I explored the castle (she had been asleep when we were there the night before) before we all headed back to the gates for the final time. Jenny in particular was really sad to be going home and was already talking about returning next year before we even got to the taxi for our ride back to the Marriot (this cost 15€ for the 6 of us).

When we arrived back our taxi for the airport was already there. Big Thumbs up for RS transport. The driver waited whilst we got our luggage and took the girls for a last toilet trip and we all headed off to the airport and home.

The airport was pretty uneventful (we booked in using the e-ticket machines so it took minutes , so we will definitely will book taxi for later leaving the resort next time). The only highlight was Hannah sitting on the floor at the security checkpoint and taking off her shoes (we’d had to do this leaving Edinburgh) to the bemused looks of the French staff who weren’t requesting this.

Roll on January and our trip with the Grannys'

Shame that your trip has come to an end but you definitely made full use of your time, including the last day :goodvibes

I've really enjoyed reading your reports Angela, I'll look forward to the next one in January! :goodvibes

What a great photo of Bruce and Hannah! :thumbsup2

Enjoyed your report - thanks for sharing. We always have plans to spend some time doing something different - pool, sealife, val de'europe etc and we always end up going back to the park instead:teeth:

sounds like you have had a lovely trip :)

Fantastic reports, really enjoyed reading and seeing your wonderful pictures. Wish I knew when we were going next!

What a lovely trip report. We can't wait to try the Marriott out in June. We have been to DLP 48 times, but this will be our first self catering experience.
