Our Magical Gathering:
Our trip starts in 5 days (well technically 4 because we are staying overnight in a hotel because we have an early flight) and I thought that this would be a good time to start my pre-trip report. Our trip planning began way back in January, we had finally decided on a big family trip to Disney. But, when to go? We knew that we wanted to go during value season and when it wasn't too hot. So we decided on December, little did we know until after all of the reservations were made that we would be there during the same week as the Pop Warner Superbowl. Hopefully the parks wont be too crowded
. This will be my third trip to Disney but I haven't been in over 10 years, it will be my children's first trip.
The Cast:
ME-25 planner and worrier-but hey who isn't
DD- 7 my little princess-we are going 1 week after her birthday so,
I have a surprise for her
DS- 4 typical boy, very active and ready to go on any ride that he is
tall enough for.
DM- lets not mention her age
very laid back
DB- 8 the boss (or so he thinks)
DB- 17 prankster
DB- 22 likes to sleep in late, hopefully he doesn't plan on this during our
trip because his niece and nephew will be his wake-up call.
DBGF- 21 great girl, looking forward to getting to know her more on this
trip

December 4 -11
Where are we staying?
Pop Century-perferred room- I've never stayed at this hotel before, probably because it wasn't built the last time that I was in Disney. I have read lots of good things about it on the boards so we are looking forward to it.
ADR's:
This was probably the hardest part about planning this trip. Because we have eight people and all with different tastes. Plus we wanted to do some of the grand gatherings events. This is what we came up with so far:
December 4th - Kona at 5:20 (all 8 at one table). We figure that we will get CS during the day.
December 5th- No TS for today, all CS at the parks.
December 6th- My surprise for DD- CRT at 8:15
(Just the two of us.)
December 7th- Luau Dinner Show at Poly 5:15 (all 8) this was one thing DM wanted
December 8th- Ohana Character breakfast at 8:30 (all 8)
Decemebr 9th- Coral Reef at 4:40 DB and DBGF's request (all 8 at two tables.) There was so many mixed reviews of this place but we're gonna try it.
December 10th- Safari Celebration Dinner @4:15 we are all looking forward to this one, I'll post some pics when we get back because I couldn't seem to find much about this on the boards.
Itinerary:
As far as the itinerary goes, our general plan (I have a more detailed one but don't know how to scan it in) is to start at one park, then take the little ones back to the hotel for a nap in the afternoon and then go back out to the parks. Still need to decide on a day for MVMCP and Bibbidi Bobbidi Botique. My mom gave me my christmas present early, a digital camera, so there wil be lots of pics in my completed trip report.
