Day #7..
With our Disneymoon coming to an end we started slowing down a bit. We went back to Epcot and spent a lot of time exploring all the different countries. We ate lunch at Le Cellier in Canada and were presented with an entire cake for our honeymoon!!! We were both very surprised and way too stuffed on all their yummy food to eat much of it. We shopped quite a bit and got a cute Mickey Mouse bib for our future baby(s).
For dinner we went over to Boatwright's at Port Orleans Riverside. Their food was very good and it was a unique restaurant.
Since this was our last night we headed to the lounge and got some more Nawlin's Ice. We sat out on a bench overlooking the water and just took it all in. Just sitting on that bench even felt like it was a special Disney moment. Only at Disney, huh?
Day #8...
Since we had partied so much the night before, we slept in and then just checked out of the hotel after grabbing some food in the food court. We didnt feel that we missed much at any particular park and so we left. It was sad leaving the Disney area.
We had a lot of time to kill so we went to the Outlet mall and looked around some stores. We made it to the airport about 90 minutes before our flight and turned in our car. Our flight home was uneventful and then it was back to our normal lives.
Final Thoughts...
My husband and I debated over 3 other honeymoon locations until we decided to head to Disney World. We are both so happy we chose DW and they really treated us special in many ways. We are looking forward to starting a family and taking our children to see DW and meet the mouse.
Our first couple of days we ran quite a bit and it was on the slower days that more precious memories were made. I fondly remember our late night walks along the water, our boat rides to DD and our shared excitement while we drove from the airport to DW. Those memories can never be forgotten and it taught me that even at Disney, the best things are free!
