Day 7 sounds like it wa a nice slow paced day! I love those. I am a huge fan of minature golfing too!! How was the course? Cute? I don't have it scheduled this time around....hmmmm..
I love the pictures at the train station. I hope to drag my dh back for the Halloween decorations one year. Just don't tell him that.
So a move, a new job.... details, details. How is your sil doing these days? How was your Halloween?
Stephanie
The mini golf course was so cute. It was themed around Santa

and his elves and their summer vacation. The decoration were perfect! Next time we either want to do the other course at WinterSummerland (there are 2) or check out the Fantasia themed one. We'll see what happens.
I love the Halloween decor, but I've seen it a few times and I'm dying to see what the parks look like for christmas! Soon enough, though

I think our Christmas 2010 trip will be the last for a few years, we want to see Europe together (I've been, he hasn't) before we have kids, and we're supposed to get to a bunch of other places to see friends and family that we've been putting off...
We just moved to a new apartment, which we love. It's in a midrise building in the far NW of town, far from the strip and chaos. It's brand new and so nice, I feel like we live in a hotel. We are not planning to buy a house here because we don't want to start a family here. If things go as planned, We'll move somewhere east of Las Vegas (mostly anywhere, right

) with land and grass and a place for kids to run in about 3 years and settle down and buy a house there.
My new job is technically an old job. I took up a summer job in a tanning salon while school was out (I was teaching Kinder), and then decided I wanted to go back to school full time. So I'm back at UNLV working on adding Math, English, Spanish, and French as teaching fields to a seondary education degree and working part time as a Pharmacy Tech at Walgreen's. I worked there when I started teaching, so I got hired back at my old rate and status. It's pretty nice. I like being in the know in the medical field, too, keeping up on the newest drugs and advances and stuff.
I think SIL is a hopeless cause. MIL is trying too hard to be friends that she doesn't really punish her or take away any priviledges, and she's still dating the guy. She's never heard the word "no" before, and I think it's going to be harmful in the future.
As for Halloween, I'm not the biggest fan. We just stayed home and watched the World Series, Go Yanks!

Not one trick or treater came, either. There are lots of houses around us though, I wouldn't take kids to an apartment building, either.
Hope all is well on your end!
