Email from Disney today to say the magic bands we customised will be waiting for us at check in.

Did you leave your home address in the shipping info section?
Most people seem to think that's the best thing to do as that way they will spot the UK address and ship to resort

Not that I'm counting either - 144 days until dining reservations, 234 days until booking plane seats and 264 until picking FP+ and maybe MBs...

Hi. Yes I put my address down, I still had a cut off date of the 22nd sept to customise them but no mention of any shipping or delivery dates until this email today.
Hope they work ok. I'm not sure about wearing it , will have to see how it feels.

When I put in my address it accepted it but when it got past the customize date it changed to POFQ and they were waiting for us when we checked in.
They are working ok for us only two very minor hitches where DH one did not work at the interventional gateway but they had someone there to sort it out and the other time it would not pick up when he wanted to pay. I was there which was lucky as mine worked.
We had carried our KTTW cards with us for the first couple of days just to be sure but overall no real complaints.

We come back last Monday and the bands are gr8. The staff need more training tho. As some times it needs 5 seconds to read but the staff will tell you to move Micky to Micky but it will work fine. HINT.... When paying don't twist you arm for the band to reach the reader just pic the reader up and hold it to the band. A cast member advice that they was all trained to do this but only she told us in the whole 15 days on site.

Have fun like we did. We come back and booked for 2014 within a few hours

So does your email specifically say they will ship to your resort then?

Can't seem to get a definitive answer from Disney so perhaps it works either way

It's linked to your resort reservation so they will have the details it never asked me for it the system changed it for me.
Also just to add apart from the previous glitches they have worked really well in terms of ease of use and the fact you don't have to keep fishing out a pass.
