Wow lots of CR votes! It would be nice to be the first bus stop for once. :rotfl:

Jen what an adorable family. :lovestruc

Sheila Really?! How did I not know this???

Miss Glad you are holding up well.

I forgot to mention I have been battling a terrible toothache since Tuesday night. :crazy2: Called the dentist Wednesday and they couldn't see me. Called yesterday and they still couldn't fit me in, but called in a script. My appointment isn't until MONDAY. :confused3 Vicodin has been my very good friend this week. Even with that I am up all night long. For some reason when the sun goes down the pain intensifies by 50. I hope the antibiotics start to kill it off tomorrow.

Aw that is awful Dani. Sorry. It is like fevers. They seem to get worse at night. He you feel better soon.

Aw thank you all for the birthday wishes for Avery, here is a pic from us being out last night, and yes we were at a restaurant!! And they were well behaved!:rotfl: I should report back to that other thread!:lmao:

Yes, that is her with the kooky face again!! I tell ya, every pic she is the one making the funny faces! Although this time she was taking a bite of her special red velvet dessert that gave her after they sang her happy birthday! She got a new bike for her birthday but her favorite gift was a pair of 'Stompies" slippers from her sister!;)

Love the picture!!! Funny faces are the best!!! :thumbsup2

*squeal*. DH didn't completely veto the split stay idea! He said he'll think about it! :-)

Must have been the beer talking...he says it would be too much moving around and stressful and he didn't like the fact that we couldn't just do the deluxe dining plan the whole time (even though paying for it OOP could be cheaper in the long run). Basically said pick a damn resort and be done with it. He doesn't want to talk about it anymore, and he's tired of me changing things or adding things, etc. Then he vowed never to go back to Disney after this trip. That I could take the kids but he was going somewhere else like Vegas or Hawaii by himself. :-/ All he had to say was he didn't think t a good idea to stay at that many hotels in less than 2 weeks...

UGH! I hate it when they overreact like that. My DH will pitch a fit like that and put his foot down every once in a while too. :rolleyes1 It will pass. :goodvibes Don't worry, we will still listen!

Ugh I am so sorry he reacted like that. Hey, if he wants to relinquish his rights to future Disney vacation you can team up with me and my brood. ;):rotfl:

I wanted to switch our trip last Nov to GF when they offered the 30% GP RO discount but Bob fell in love with BWI in March and said GF seemed "snobby" so I did not push it. He has always said no Poly, ever since we did the Luau years ago, He just did not like the resort but when I brought up the Poly this trip he said ok :faint: I think it was guilt over shooting down GF last year. :)

I was up most of the night. I have been sleeping in a recliner downstairs in the living room since the pain is intolerable when I lay down, but of course both kids knew I was down there and neither could just leave me be. Now I have work in an hour and slept about an hour. :sad2: Every time I would doze off one of them would start their shenanigans.

Ugh.....sorry to hear your still hurting, hope the antibiotics kick in and you get some relief

Hehehe. Sometimes I wonder if it would be so bad to just go with the kids since he doesn't really enjoy it himself...

Now I guess I need to decide whether we stay at CR or if we indeed go to AKL instead. Although to stay within the budget we have now, it'd have to be a pool view bunk bed room instead of savannah bunk bed room...we'd save almost $500 that way...?

I do feel bad because this was supposed to be a much cheaper trip...and it isn't whatsoever right now...

Thanks ladies. The pain isn't as bad right now so hopefully the antibiotics are kicking the infections butt! I just need a nap after work.

koh I am not married, but I do go with my children alone and have also brought family along. I really enjoy the solo trips! This June trip will be the first time with BOTH kids, but I think we will be alright. I may be slow getting through security but anyone who has a problem with it will just have to grow some patience. Other than that the time alone with the kids is great.

The shirt I ordered for my October trip showed up yesterday;

When I stayed at AKL I did a Standard Room and I have to say between the things to see within the resort(displays) and all the animals outside I really did not miss seeing the savanah from my room. ALso Boma's is the best Breakfast buffet onsite IMO.

If I keep this up I will talk myself right out of the Poly and into AKL :rotfl:

See, THIS is why I can't ever make up my mind and keep changing things... :-)

Sheila sorry but you're not allowed to change. :rotfl: I am making you stick with Poly!

I saw your later post that your tooth is feeling better so that at least is good news! :thumbsup2 There really must be some sort of alarm that goes off in the kids head every time mama falls asleep!!! Hope you manage to get a nap this afternoon.

The savannah view rooms at AKL are really fun but I will tell you the pool view rooms are really pretty especially at night. I love watching the animals especially in the morning drinking my coffee. But remember the animals are put to bed and I found that at night you were just looking at empty land. Don't get me wrong it was very peaceful and quiet. I found that I enjoyed the pool view in the morning but also loved it at night .... loved the way the lights looked on the water. Disclaimer: I am a total water person .... pools, lakes, rivers, oceans ... if it's wet I love it!!!! So my opinion might be a little biased. Also remember there are plenty of places to watch the animals thruout the resort .... love those rocking chairs!!! :thumbsup2
