Hi,
High and low points of our recent trip:
Got exit seats (both ways) on the Virgin flight with no charge! As "families" cannot use these seats the check-in operator said that they were reviewing the charge for the Florida route as they had been left with empty exit seats and "families" who couldn't use them.Other Gatwick routes are still charging.

Hired a PT Cruiser from Dollar paid too much but I really luv those cars.

First 5 nights at Wyndham I-drive. Great room with my ByRequest upgrade and only £60 per nite all in, booked with my local travel agent.Only dissapointment was no fridge in the room.

Next 4 nights at Vero Beach.Great ocean view room.Just luv this place, did the outlet mall (better than Orlando IMHO)and the Piper Factory Tour.Called at KSC on the way to Vero and had lunch at Grills Tiki Bar at Port Canaveral, brilliant!Only bad news was lots of bites from the bugs on the beach(Noseeums?)

Last 5 nights at the Beach Club Villas and loved it.Seemed a lot quieter than the Boardwalk but just as handy for Epcot.

Did the usual park things while in Orlando and did MVMCP for the first time and really enjoyed it.

Any questions just ask!

Mick and the Dragon.

We are very tempted to try one of these when we get there. Is there much difference between the UK and the USA version?

Sounds as though you had a great time.

Thanks

Hi,
Michelle not too sure if there is much difference between the US/UK spec PT Cruiser. The one we hired had all the usual "extras"
including a CD player. It was very roomy and a real pleasure to drive.
Kaylee Vero Beach is a great resort IMHO.It feels much more relaxed than Orlando and the staff seem to have a lot more time for the guests. We had an Ocean View Inn room and the view was breathtaking as we sat on the balcony eating breakfast and watching the Pelicans over the Ocean. There are several places worth visting nearby and although we only ate at the hotel there are a number of other restaurants close by too.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Mick.
