We are heading down to Disney the last week of April & staying at POFQ. I have just a couple of questions:
1. In our past visits Fast pass times had some wiggle room, especially if you were late. What is the policy now?

2. We plan on using our water park day at Typhoon lagoon. I read that there are no longer direct busses to the water parks. I can't remember what it said about where we would need to transfer?

3. In the past, as we've driven down, I pack beach towels. Flying this time so I'm not planning on bringing any. Do the water parks have towels, do you rent them, or just take them from the hotel pool? I never noticed in the past.

Thanks for the help!

1. FP+ can be used up to 5 minutes early and about 15 minutes late for the touchpoint to turn green. One time I was 16 minutes late and the CM asked if there was a reason that I was late and he still let me through. Don’t count on this though and not all CMs will be that nice. Your best bet is to use the FP+ during the hour window.

I can’t answer 2 and 3 because we don’t go to the water parks.

I have not heard that there are no longer direct buses to water parks. When we were there last June, I remember buses with Typhoon lagoon coming through. The water parks only rent towels, they aren't complimentary, but as far as I know, it is ok to take them from the hotel pool, as long as you bring them back.

To get to Typhoon Lagoon you have to pick up a bus at Disney Springs. To get to Blizzard Beach you need to pick up a bus at Animal Kingdom.

And you can get towels for free at the water parks if you're staying at a Disney resort.

1. You are allowed 5 minutes early, and up to 15 minutes late. I try to stay within the hour that is allowed, and often try to get there right at the beginning of the hour, as that allows me the opportunity to try to bump my next FP+ to an earlier time.

2. To get to Typhoon Lagoon, take a bus, or other transport, to Disney Springs. There is a shuttle from Disney Springs to Typhoon Lagoon.

3. Though I haven't done this myself yet, I've read here on the DIS that towel rentals at the water park are now free to resort guests. Quite a few posters have verified this to be the case.

We received the towels for free at the water parks last year. We just went to the counter where they rent them and asked. I had to write down my name and resort but that's it. No charge. I was told (because I asked) that too many people were bringing and leaving the ones from the resorts causing distribution issues for the laundry service so they started the free towels.

Last time I was in WDW, I stayed at French Quarter, and from what I recall, I saw that the busses were still running to the water parks? I could be dreaming, but that's what I remember.

As for towels, I'd just grab some from your hotel if you're worried. Then once you get there, you'll find out whether or not the towels are free or for rental. I highly doubt they'd make you pay, but then again, nothing is off the table when it comes to up charges, so maybe not. You could always buy souvenir beach towels. That's what I do.
