DAY TWO - Sun. 7/16/06

As already stated, I spent this ENTIRE day in Celebration Hospital  . We told the girls to take the busses to the park of their choice and they spent the day at MGM. After being released from the hospital at 7pm., DH and I stopped at Walgreen’s to buy one of those styrofoam ice chests, a gallon of skim milk (my family drinks a ton of milk...we would make this milk run to Walgreen’s twice more on our trip) and some medicine. I got back to the hotel about 8pm and just took a shower and crashed, as DH and I had had almost no sleep in 48 hours.

The trip REALLY starts tomorrow...it truly does get better!!!

Glad that you are back in your hotel and with your family......thanks for taking the time to post

To add to the trip report:

On Day Two, my sister and I were originally going to follow mom's "Master Plan" and go to EPCOT as we were originally supposed to do. However, at mom's recommendation, she suggested we NOT go to EPCOT if we weren't going to get up for the EMH hours. So we heeded her advice and went to MGM. Pretty good plan.

We got there and got fast passes for ToT and stood in line for about 40 minutes for RnRC. We turned around and went on ToT. We love those rides haha. We then went on the Great Movie Ride. At this point we were starting to get hungry, and the only counter service I could think of was Pizza Planet. We begin to venture in that direction, but stop for a quick trip on Star Tours. We walked on to this ride, then I stood in line at Pizza Planet to get the food while my sister scavenged for a table. We enjoyed our lunch (probably more because we were starving rather than quality). Since we were right by Muppets and the next show was about to start, we did that. After one more go on both ToT and RnRC (which we practically walked on again). We took the busses back home.

NOTE: I found that the POP line for the busses was almost always longer than the other resorts. Granted, my sister and I got on the first bus that arrived each time, but we were very lucky. Of the 3 times we rode the bus, we were always the last ones boarded and we had to stand. Not exactly a fun ride home from an exhausting day at the park...

So a helpful word of advice, if you aren't going to get up in the morning to take advantage of the EMH....go to another park! It will pay off...

Yep, Silverspark was a lifesaver on this trip. With me in the hospital, she really took charge and saved the day!!!
