Our itinerary =)

I would love any suggestions (good and bad) and also travel recommendations to and from.

I am still trying to get a ressie for Chef Mickeys and Cape May for brkfast, but as it stands:

8/25 Arrival and Check in at the Dolphin

8/26 DHS Day. Noon lunch at Hollywood and Vine (DD loved this last year). Back to the hotel for pool time and then probably Chevys for dinner.

8/27 Animal Kingdom Day/my birthday. Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and then back to the hotel for dinner at the Garden Grove. Proaby a stroll on the boardwalk.

8/28 MK Day. 8:00 AM breakfast at Ohana, Lunch at The Plaza and then the Dessert Party for Fireworks at MK,

8/29 Depart =(


Is there anything you would add or remove, based on our limited time? Im especially concerned with the best way to get to Ohanas and then MK on the morning of the 29th. Should we drive to Ohanas and then drive to the MK. Park at MK and hop the monorail to Ohanas?

Well, it is pretty late to try to change things but....

There are so many better dinners on/near the Boardwalk than Garden Grove. Flying Fish, Kouzzina, Cape May and Yachtsman Steakhouse would be great choices, especially for a bday dinner! And Il Mulino too!!! Wow!! Lots of other choices!!

I had Flying Fish booked (its still avail, so I may add it back), was just a little worried about it being too pricey.....I really want a nice breakfast on the 27th (especially a character breakfast) but nothing is avail =(

Make certain to get the Restaurant.com coupon for Garden Grove. Also, I'd sign up for the Landry's select card (different than the Rainforest Club card) for the Rainforest. If you sign up - it's $25 and then they give you that $25 back as a credit to use PLUS an additional $25 for your b-day! I just signed up and I'm going to use mine at T-Rex. It can be used at T-Rex, Rainforest and Yak & Yeti. Have fun and happy B-day.
