Hi, everyone! I am so excited for our trip coming up! In a few weeks I will be calling WDW Dining to make some AR's and need all of you experts on here to let me know if I have to right idea with my dining choices. I planned around EMH...trying to avoid at all costs, except for the MGM night. Here are our must-do's:

1. Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table during Wishes
2. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (already have tickets for 12/1)
3. A special dinner at Ohana's for my husband's birthday.
4. Enjoy the Christmas decorations at the deluxe resorts and the parks.
5. Candlelight Processional
6. Fantasmic
7. Ride as many rides and see as many shows without killing ourselves
8. Get picture with Daisy-I can never find her at Disneyland
9. Watch the parade at each park
10. Take time to relax and spend time at resort

Wish we could stay longer! I am hoping I am not packing too much into one trip! I plan on spending some afternoons at our hotel, napping and swimming. Thanks for reading, everyone!! :earsgirl:

sounds really well planned and it all seems good
Yes you can walk to epcot from cape may...:) or you could take a friendship boat!

Does anyone have any suggestions on good counter service restaurants at all the different parks? TIA! :earsgirl:

You can say money by doing dinner and fantasmic without the package. And if you do not mind going early you can get much better seats to fantasmic on your own. We find that most the self serve food places have about the same food except in AK.

I was going to go to Mama Melrose anyway, so we decided to just do the Fantasmic Package. Are the dinner package seats not that great? Thank you for reading! :flower:

I am going to change my arrival day for us to go straight to MGM and grab dinner at counter service and just walk around. And go to WCC for breakfast before we leave on Dec 6!

Here are my Favorite CS in each park. I know others disagree but I have gotten good food consistently

MK Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bills, Or Caseys Corner
Epcot Fish and Chips Stand
MGM Backlot Express
AK Flame Tree BBQ

Sounds like you have a great trip planned Enjoy

Thanks Grumpy Disney Dad...I am excited to try out the counter service restaurants...I will write those down as ones to try! Have a great night!! :flower:

when we have been that time of year it is not hot and not crowded...imo a lot of down time napping ect might not be needed unless your baby won't sleep in a stroller and it may be cool to swim( can be 50 or 90, varies a lot).

emhs at night are new since our last trip but just thinking about the lack of people in general, I wonder how busy they would be ( maybe with the cp it would be more don't know)

we liked tusker(aK) for counter service, caseys (mk)was good for hot dogs and most counter in epcot except japan and china are pretty good really liked germany sommerset( think that's the name) and of course french bakery is ohhlala

imo wcc is the perfect end to a wdw trip..makes you want to come back for sure!

I see that you are going to MGM then going to the Xmas Party AND going to Epcot the following morning. Are you really going to be able to get up at 8a.m. and party til midnight then get up a few hours later to go to Epcot? We're going the same week (and same party date too!) and we're not doing any parks on the morning of our party because we'd like to stay as late as possible at the party. Then, we're planning to sleep in the next day and hit AK around 10. We skip the Safari and can finish off the park in a few hours so for us, it works out well to arrive after opening.

Daisy77, unless they have changed (and you can ask them where the seats are before you book) They are now in the center. They are on the right side about half way down and lower. If you can sit in the middle which is a huge area and about half way down and up the seats are better.

Hi, bizeemom4~
Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment on my itinerary! :flower: It is just going to be me and my husband on this trip, so we will be able to stay out late. We are not going to Epcot early in the morning the following day, I edited my itinerary late last night. We are going to Epcot around 10am. This is our first trip to WDW ever and all I am basing my itinerary on is what I have read here on the disboards and at disneyworld.com, so if you have any more advice, I would really, really appreciate it! :Pinkbounc

Thanks, gydell, for taking the time to read the itinerary and letting me know your thoughts...I will talk to my husband and see if the Fantasmic Dinner package is something he really thinks is worth the money! pirate: I thought to get the good seats, you had to do the dinner package. I had no idea that you can get a great seat w/o the dinner. I have only been to Fantasmic at DL and it is madness! I could not see for the life of me, there are no seats (at least not when I went) and I am only 5'1"...no one would let me stand in front of them :guilty: . So I just want to make sure I can see and experience Fantasmic in the best way possible. :earsgirl:
