Our Honeymoon!!!!

Hello all....

I'm new to the DISboards! I just got engaged on Christmas and my fiance and I have been discussing our honeymoon lately. I use to work at Disney back in 2001 and haven't been back since. He's never been there and knows I'm not the type to just sit on the beach in the islands, so HE actually suggested going to Disney!!! I'm super excited to go back and we are even staying at Caribbean Beach where I use to work!!!!

So we are looking to book our honeymoon for 9 days in October 2012. Yes, I know, it's 2 years away, but I'm just so exicted that he had my interest at heart and is even willing to where the mickey groom ears!!!

Congratulations! Use this as an opportunity to pull out all the stops! Couples massage at GF spa, deluxe dining, etc.

You will have a fantastic time - and FYI, the bride and groom ears make it even more magical!

Surprising him with the bride and groom ears for our engagement party since we are having a Disney themed engagement party. We're just going to do the regular dining. I did all the math and for the two of us, the deluxe dining is too much for us. But I never thought about the couples massage. Thanks for the idea!!

My wife and I had a Disneymoon. It was the most memorable trip, not just because it was our honeymoon, but for the fact that Disney treats you like royalty on such occasions. Congratulations!

Congrats on your engagement! I got engaged in February while on vacation in the world and my fiance and I are planning a disneymoon too! we are looking at 10 days at POR with a 4 night cruise on the dream for May 2011! have fun planning your disneymoon!!

DH and I honeymooned at Disney in 1997. It was the best!
Make sure you tell Disney it's your honeymoon when you book and when you check in. Also, see if Disney still offers the Honeymoon Package!
