I loved your DHS day. Glad you got to meet up with another diser. You really saw a lot on this day. I was suprised Kylee went on ToT. Steven wouldn't even go on. I would have nightmares everynight of elevators falling. One of my biggest fears.

I hope everything is going well. Even though I don't get over here as much..I think about the both of you often.

Hi Crissy, we did have a good weekend....started out with meeting one of our Big Give families.....Chelsea and her wonderful big brother Fuller and her sweet mama and papa for breakfast on Saturday! they are just so dang cute!!

did some shopping and in the middle of reorganizing our office/scrap/toy room so been busy and taking some down time too!
hope you had a great weekend too!

Today was Megan's HUGE surprise! couldn't wait to finally share it with her!

note: I have already scrapbooked these pages, so was a bit quicker to post the photos, sorry they aren't the best quality!

Getting her "invitation"

she was so excited! this has been a dream since she was 5! so happy to finally make it come true for her!

we called a taxi to bring us to Discover Cove! it felt very strange to me when we left Disney property!
got checked in and headed over to breakfast (sorry no photos) our dophin swim was a 1:30 a bit later than I hoped for, but gave us lots of time to relax before hand!

after breakfast we headed over to get our gear and lockers, found a lounge chair in the shade and hit the lagoon and lazy river! I think we floated down the river 8 or 9 times! was so warm and relaxing! Megan did pretty good with her snorkling gear and had fun playing around! ~~ our "Believe" shirts were from scouthawk thanks Jennifer!!!

we did go to the sting ray pool, boy was that water cold! Megan was a little freaked out about them swimming by her, so I only got a few photos before we left! yup you guessed it, back to the lazy river! since I have a thing about birds landing on me we didn't go to the aviary either....I know we missed out a couple things there, but this was more about us relaxing and of course the dolphins!

we took a break and enjoyed a snack....its so great that everything is included in the cost! breakfast, lunch, drinks, snacks!

it was time to head over to the swim! after filling out our paperwork and getting our instructions we headed to the dophin lagoon....more cold water! but got used to it pretty quick!

we were introduced to our first new friend "Natalie" she would swim by us so we could touch her! she felt like soft, wet rubber! she was so sweet! her trainer had her do a couple tricks, which we then got to do also using hand signals!

next up was "Akai" he was to be our "ride"! we again got to touch and do a couple tricks with him, even got to get a kiss from him! then it was time for our rides! each family took their turns and we were the last!

it was so much fun to go on our ride! next Megan was picked to receive a toy from Akai! he swam up to her with a buoy....on it was "Happy Birthday Megan" she was so surprised!

we then got to enjoy the dolphis jump and do tricks in the air!
boy I wish I could post the video, but don't know how to unless someone can give me REALLY easy instructions how to....
we said our goodbye's and headed over to order our photos, then lunch...we barely made it before they stopped serving! got cleaned up, so nice they have wonderful showers with everthing you need to get cleaned up! picked up our packages....Megan also got a frame, t-shirt and backpack with her Birthday Celebration package! and headed back to POP!

so what did we do next...... met a very special little guy and his family!!!

When we got back to POP, I called Elliot's mom Christy.....Elliot was a little guy from a Big Give on his MAW trip! they were in Epcot, so we got changed and headed over to finally meet them!

Getting to meet Elliot, his sister Addison, brother Trevor and Christy and Craig was a big treat for us....after visiting for a bit Craig and Trevor headed over to ride some big rideds while we hung out with Christy and the little ones!

being silly....

we headed over to the MAW lounge in Spaceship Earth, but it had already closed for the day! so we decided to go on the ride!

we walked around the exhibits a bit and the kids played

met back up with Craig and Trevor....they little ones were ready to leave, Elliot was so cute, he asked us to come back to GKTW to swim and have ice cream with them!! we were so touched and sorry we couldn't go!
We said our good-byes and gave hugs all around....it was so wonderful for us to be able to meet this special family and we thank them for sharing part of their day with us!!!

after our good-byes we headed over to China for dinner! we enjoyed our sweet and sour chicken and red bean ice cream! and decided to call it a night! we were tired and my bed was calling!

got home and crashed! it was such a wonderful day and filled with great memories!

the next day we are heading back to Epcot, more fun with Shawna and the kids and a very special tour.....

sorry, but had some time yesterday and wanted to get it posted! it was amazing to swim with the dolphins!

thanks Kris, we used the noodles so it was easier, but made my shoulders and neck hurt after the 5-6 time! I got the paper at www.scrapmytrip.com or www.mousememories.com can't remember for sure!

I just posted on your TR, it is sad, but you have so many wonderful memories and photos!

The red bean ice cream was strawberry and I think it has a chinesse fruit "lictea" (sp)??? in it, was very yummy! Megan doesn't like beans either! and you are NOT a bad mommy, just one who needs her ice cream to help get through the hospital stays!
