I finally found the time to go through your trip thread. I'm on board for the rest of the trip. Will live vicariously through you since I'm not sure if our November trip is going to happen after all.

quite easy....push a button, wait a couple minutes and they rolled out one by one...they were pretty good considering they came out of a machine...was quite the hit with all the kids in the lounge!

Ellen and Kathy, I won't make you wait... the Wanyama Safari was great! loved being able to see the animals up close...one of the male giraffes came right up to our truck, they said he is very curious! loved the dinner at Jiko!

Ellen, it is a totally different type of safari than the Wild Africa Trek, but I thought it was worth the money...so you will both have to wait patiently for photos though!
Life will be back to normal next week, so hope to get a couple updates done each week!

I am all caught up, I LOVED the Goofy Picture you bought, it is so special and will remind you and Megan always of this special trip, where Jim watched over you both. I LOVED seeing all of the wonderful gifts and Pixie Dust that was sent to make your trip so memorable and happy. I have been eager to see it all since the little birdie told me about it befroe you left. There are some incredibly generous, caring people on the DIS!!! INCLUDING YOU!!! Hi Crissy, we did have a fun weekend with Auntie K, to short of a visit, but had lots of fun and talked the whole time! she is such a wonderful, supportive lady to us both!

our pixie dust was amazing, showed my mom and our Auntie K all our goodies and they were amazed at all the wonderful things we got!
That little WendyBird was very sneaky! and so sweet to coordinate our gifts! the Big Give ladies are very kind and sweet.....to be on the receiving end was a bit overwhelming for us and we love being a part of them to shower other families with the same love we got!

I hope to have our beach days posted later today...need to bring car in for service and a couple of errands....stay tuned

we had so much fun here hanging out with Lorie (her DH David was with Jim in Haiti) and her family! it was a nice, relaxing couple of days at the beach and great way to start our vacation!

it was so nice being right on the beach! the kids had so much fun together....especially Megan and her little shadow Lanie!!

no the water wasn't warm...but it didn't stop the kids as you can see!
