I wasn't sure if I would like this dinner show. I have read the hard reviews through the Unofficial guide for years and had decided to pass. With three families traveling together this time though, and my husband and brother-in-law eager for all you can drink, I booked this dinner/show a year in advance.

We were all staying at the CR. We had gone to EE at MK that morning (Sun, 3/2) and taken a rest back in our rooms. We took the boat from CR's dock, the kids enjoyed this ride. While waiting for our seating (7:15pm) we saw the MK's fireworks, that was nice. Our table ended up being right in the middle of the room, third row back - perfect location! When the players dance around and around a table - that was us!! The six kids (3,5,5,6,8,9) loved this show, they laughed so hard. They didn't think it a bit too corny :p. Half of us had the vegetarian meal and the plates of veggie pasta they brought us were huge. The pasta was fine but the bread with honey butter was delicious. Too bad they switched from corn on the cob (which the kids would have loved) to niblets which none of them touched. We all enjoyed the buildup to dessert, a few of the kids were bouncing in their seats with excitement. The strawberryshortcake is huge but quite tasteless, too bad :( . A smaller, good quality shortcake would have made such a great ending, I must write them. The kids barely ate any beyond the first bite.

This dinner/show ended up being my son's (6) fave activity. Money well spent. We rode the boat back to the CR and passed the electric parade on the water. Great evening :D

Enjoyed your review. It sounds like everyone had a great time. How fun to be the "center" table. It is amazing to me how young children can be and still enjoy that show. I swear I can still hear our eldest's laughter from our first trip there which was 20 years ago. He laughed at things I had no idea he knew anything about. He laughed so hard that some older ladies seated in front of us took pictures of him.

We also had a group of 11 go to this show a couple of yrs ago. This was one of our favorite meals! Eveyone really enjoyed the show and the food was excellent...HINT: make sure you leave plenty of room for dessert!!

Glad you had a great time. Thanks for sharing your review.:)

Thanks for the review. :)

The boat that you took to and from CR interests me. Does a boat regularly run between CR and FW?

I believe you can catch the boat at any time, about every 20 min. or so. They try to have it run on the hour, so : 8:00, 8:20, 8:40, 9:00 ect.... They have a sign posted by the dock with the beginning and ending hours. You could take the boat earlier and explore FW which we did not do but would have enjoyed. There are carriage rides for hire which would be a big hit.

The boat is the launch that runs constantly between the 7 Seas resports and MK. It is about 30 - 45 minutes between return stops at each resport depending on number of guests on site. When we last stayed at Wilderness Lodge it was 9/01 so the small number of guests made the launch arrivals a little more frequent. Great way to go from resort to resort.
