Thats so sweet Ariana gave Miss Bunny flowers. River always wants to bring cheese for Mickey. I tell him he is to busy meeting all the people to eat it.

We've never seen DeVine I would really like to find her.

Thats great Emma loved KRR! I've never done EE I'm to chicken. Does it have a big stomach drop?

It looks like you guys had so much fun at the pool. We were never there for the games and I don't think they were doing the movies yet when we were last there.

I can't wait to see what happens next.

DeVine was very cool to watch and I hope I get to see her again!

EE is not bad and has a nice backwards drop when you run out of track

The pool was a big highlight of this trip, we spent a lot of time there and did some cool activities!

back up to MK, looks like you had alot of fun and did quite a bit for the first day, can't wait to see all the Mouse ears and I enjoyed your pixs from MSEP...good choice on skipping out of there ahead of the end of day crowds

I can see how that would be tough on Ariana...

Tusker House, oh stinky what a shame w/ the timing and not best service...sometimes it seems hit or miss at the buffets. Glad you enjoyed the characters. I think if we do this in future trips I will choose a pre park time

sounds like you had a hot one but glad everyone enjoyed Kali, EE is always fun, sadly won't being seeing the Yeti again anytime soon for me...

we headed straight for a 2 weeks safari (stupid poachers, my safari was cut short and I packed and everything).

The same thing happened to us, what are the chances of two separate two-week safaris getting cut short by poachers?

Can you say ‘pissed’ in a Disney trip report?

It appears the answer is yes.

On the way to KRR we ran into DeVine! This was the first time I had seen her and it was really cool to watch her move. Again I had Kingdom Keepers flashbacks while watching her

I completely forgot about DeVine on our trip. I was kicking myself once we got home for not having it listed on my "Things to do" list for the Animal Kingdom.

Tracy knew the secret paths right up to the tree that I had never been on so I let her lead and we were off to find the tree.

Are these "secret" trails any different than the Discovery Island Trails that are listed on the guide map in the Discovery Island section???

I know it was very hard to find the trail and we were on the right path when a CM sent us the other way

There are trails that go NEAR the tree but then there are trails that go right to the base with nothing between you and the tree and it seems pretty difficult to find the trail sometimes

It's too bad I've been reading more and more about the waiting problem at Tusker House because it really is a great breakfast place. Our experience this time around was compounded with the poor seating and crappy service but if that hadn't of happened we'd have forgiven them easily for the wait.

AK days are great for that! Fun days capped off with relaxing swims.

We really did have a great day at AK despite the bad breakfast start. KRR will always be my favourite part of that day!!!

You've been updating fools...I love it. I love you laid back approach at AK. The games and movies at Pop (and other Values) are new. I'm not sure if it was just for summer/warmer months, or if it will continue on for the rest of the year. it looked like a lot of fun.

I love the laid back approach. I know the first couple times we went I wanted to do everything because I never knew if I would be back, but now that we have gone every year and always seem to have another trip booked I really think we can slow down at the parks and take it easy. If we don't get something done there is always next trip!

I am all caught up!!! Your day 1 looks great! I'm sorry you had a bad experience with TH. Good to know for future trips. We had an ADR before the park opens when we went so no worries about walk ups. I guess we will have to continue to do it that way... Looking forward to more!
