I really want to catch Phineas and Ferb in Nov...where exactly are they at? I hate to say it, but I am not very good at finding my way around HS.
I'm glad you meal was great after that long wait. I too have read mixed reviews about it as well.
We have never seen F! yet..and I have a secret...I have no desire too. Maybe when Claire gets older we'll give it a try.

Yes it was a very long line but it was what Eryka was most looking forward to so I wasn't going to skip it. They are very good at entertaining the kids while they wait in line though

Day 8 – Friday September 30


Park – MK


Reservations – Crystal Palace


We were finally back to Magic Kingdom this day and bright and early! This is my kind of vacation!!! I was up at 7am and we were ready to go at 7:40!
We got to MK and went to the early reservation entrance (last year this was to the right and this year it was on the left, when did they change it?)

We got in and I couldn’t resist a couple pics, especially one of Wayne’s place

We headed down Main St and I checked us in to Crystal Palace. While we were waiting I got a few pictures

Breakfast was good, typical breakfast food (that I love) but the lines seemed kinda long this year which I have never seen before. While we were eating the characters all made a stop to see us

After breakfast we decided a meet with Mickey and Minnie was in order. If you haven’t been to see them at the Town Square Theatre you really must because it is really neat

Of course when you leave here you are in a store and what did I find there but My baby Goofy!!!

Isn't he just the cutest!!!!!

Hi! I have a whole two hours to myself this morning, so I thought I'd hop over here and hold up my end of the deal with this TR. Natalie has done a fantabulous job so I'm just going to catch up with a few of my favorite photos where I left off.

A quick diversion if you'll indulge me (I'm not back two seconds and I'm diverting... ) Demetri had his Super Saturday this morning at 7am .... and they won!

He got one goal and one assist Here's his goal....

Alright, back to the trip!

Leaving Epcot for Chef Mickey's. I love scenery shots.

This was gross. It looked soooo good on the drink listing but alas, the bartender was new and he did NOT know how to make this. I figured when paying the bill and there were two sips gone the waitress might ask what was wrong. She didn't so I casually mentioned that the drink really had not been prepared correctly. She said she'd tell the bartender but didn't offer to take it off my tab. Nice.

Now THIS on the other hand was an extremely yummy concoction! Delicious!

Love, Love, LOVE how Pluto signs autograph books. We giggle everytime.

We of course had to give the honeymooners a little time to themselves. It's only fair

The kids had a hoot with Donald and tricked him into calling himself #2

More birthday celebrations topped off by Mickey singing along for "Happy Birthday" .... what could be better than that?!

This CM kept coming back to our table throughout the evening telling the kids jokes. Can't remember any of them now but some of them were pretty funny!


The original plan had been to head back to Epcot for Illuminations but Chef Mickey's was a great end to a great day, so home we went, back to the Pop.

Our next morning was DHS and we were immediately entertained by the wonderful streetmosphere. Cross that off our to-do list!

Next was Toy Story Mania and the teammates were.....

How'd we do?

Well, let's just skip over that now shall we?


Off we went to the Great Movie Ride....


Hey there COWBOY where you been all these years?!

Finally we got the cowboy side! Next we wanted to do some singing in the rain.....

This is worth seeing again don't you think?

I'm soooo glad we got to see Phineas and Ferb. The line really was entertaining while we waited, they did a fantastic job of keeping the kids busy.


Demetri was picked to be a side to side dancer of some sort....

Props from the Director... he was a hoot.

Time for some fancy guitar work and soon enough it was time for the M&G.

The kids got to dance first and I was so happy to see Ariana dance along instead of just watching the others.....

A great meet and I can't wait to see them again next time!

Then we were off to Lights Motor Action. Originally Ariana and I were going to skip this but once they announced Lightning McQueen was joining the show, we had to watch!

Yep, we'll skip it next time. I'm glad we saw it but I think I'd rather go grab an ice cream.


We slowly ambled over to set up shop for the Pixar parade and grabbed a treat on the way. The super nice guy at this cart gave Ariana a free Mickey Bar for her birthday! Yay super nice cart guy!!

This day was soooo hot for me, I remember slowing down and being fairly whiny while we were waiting for the parade to start. Honestly I so could have just hopped into the nearest fountain if it wouldn't have been so frowned upon.

We met more characters and were off to see Pooh Bear. Waiting in line we were giggling again at the honey honey honey honey honey picture.

Coming out of the Animation building, Demetri plunked into the stroller and asked to take some pictures along our walk. Sure!

Not too bad!

We got to the Star Tours shop and his pictures continued....

One last picture he asked me to take of him....

....and it was time to head over to dinner.

My kids first picture at the snowman. For some reason, we've always missed it.

Demetri had control of the camera again while we were getting our ornaments....

Once we were seated for Mama Melrose, I decided to try this again....

You know, just in case they changed it or something


The food was delicious! I wished Ariana's pasta serving was a bit bigger but she really enjoyed it and we had dessert coming too.

Throughout the dinner we were all trying to find Eeyore's Tail on the placemats the kids had for their meals. You know where they have a picture and you have to find the hidden objects? Well there were six hidden tails and we could only find five! It was driving us nuts and soon we were grabbing waiters and waitresses and asking them to help us.

Those guys weren't of any help and we thought we'd forever never know where that sixth tail was. Until....... Demetri spotted a manager at a nearby table. SHE should know -- right?!

She did!! We felt much better after that


Ariana's birthday treat arrived and once again she was very happy to be sung to....

.... and the kids got complimentary glow thingies, Buzz and Tink. Ariana's became a clip in her hair....

.... and we finished off a very yummy dining time at Mama Melrose! I'm so glad we went. This is not a place that George would go to so it was wonderful getting to go with Natalie. A hit!


Once it was time for Fantasmic, we headed over.

I didn't mind the seats we had but as Natalie said, it was pretty annoying listening to the group around us that was mad about their view. Honestly, I really wanted to tell them to get over it and stop complaining!

The bus lines were crazy CRAZY that night but it was another really great day!

I'm nearing the end of my free time.... let's see if I can get caught right up!


Our next morning kicked off with an empty Main Street.

Once seated at Crystal Palace, it wasn't long at all before the characters were coming by to say hello....

Ariana LOVES it when the characters have fun with Baby Simba

A parade and another birthday card....

I noticed there were changes to the flower arrangement when you first walk in to the restaurant... my favorite was the Pooh pumpkin.

One last picture with Tigger and the paper hats the kids made out of their meal placemats.....

.... and we headed back to meet a Mouse.

Hey Jessica! Oh no, it's not that we don't like LMA, we do and your boys will LOVE it (there's some parts they should be prepared for), but Ariana is not as impressed with cars and explosions and what have you. I enjoyed Lightning's addition to the show but now that I've seen it, Ariana and I will go grab that ice cream while the boys see it next time.

I would love to see the pictures Jack and Demetri take!! We'll definately have to plan something!

I am not a fan of LMA either. It's OK, but kind of slow and just something I only needed to see once. My DH loves it though.
