Okay so let's introduce everyone, shall we?
I'm Jessica, 27 years old, SAHM/Student. September 12th 2012 my life changed when I was diagnosed with Celiac disease with over 10 years of being misdiagnosed. Definitely a blessing to finally know what was wrong with me, but it's been a struggle learning to live in a completely different way! (For those who don't know, Celiac is an autoimmune disease and I cannot have gluten.) I also have a lactose intolerance and it now seems an issue with soy. Otherwise I love to read, write, travel and do daytripcations, bake, sew, crochet, needle felt and cross-stitching. Most of all I love being with my family.
My husband is turning 29 in 2 weeks. He works with mentally and physically disabled criminals and is a student as well. In his spare time he loves to pretend he is Alton Brown while he cooks an amazing steak, play the drums, play a video game or two or just snuggle up with the family and watch a movie. He is on a no salt and no saturated fats diet. Aren't we a fun pair with our eating restrictions? LOL.
Our son is 6 years old and is in the 1st grade. He is a Pokemon fanatic and is beginning to love Star Wars,
Lego's and of course he has been a Disney fanatic since he was a baby. If he isn't reading, being a super hero, building an extremely tall tower or dancing? He's probably playing his DS and catching a lot of pokemon.
