We've been going to the WDW parks for the past 10 years. :rolleyes1
We know every brick there and follow a plan of attack/road map every time we went to the WDW parks. :moped:
This is the First time me, my wife and 12 year old daughter have ever been to Seaworld, Discovery cove, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Tampa. :dance3:
If anyone has a plan of attack/road map to follow at any of the parks that would keep us from wasting time walking around looking for what to do and what rides to go on I'd really appreciate it. :beach:
Good Luck All,
Joe

Good Luck All,

We did exactly that 2 years ago, after spending 3 nights in Universal. My kids DD11 and DS15 like rides. We spent 10 days and 9 nights at a hotel very near SW, Aquadica and Discovery Cove. All 3 were less than a 5 minute drive from the Fairfield near SW on I drive. With your Discovery cove pass, you get free bundled with Aquadica and SW, and for 20 more dollars, can add BGT. We thought 2 days in SW, and BGT was nice, as we got to see more and on the second day, revisit what we liked. Also, we were glad we did 2 days in BGT, as the cheeta coaster was down the one day, and my kids liked riding it. So, at least they got to do it the first day we went. At SW, if you like the shows, having 2 days let you spread out seeing them, without trying to cram them all in in 1 day. For Aquadica, we did 1 full day, and since we had a late flight out that day, we did almost a full day. The fast river is fun to just go around and around and around.

My best tip is true for almost every amusement park, get there at rope drop and you can get alot of the rides done easily. Also, if you stay at a SW neighbor hotel, you get free a quick que that works like an express pass. There is an expedia desk in the hotel's lobby, and your room key gets you the pass for each person in your room.

We enjoyed that vacation so much, and my DD loves the dolphins, so we are doing the Busch parks in FLA this Christmas.

Have a great time! There's so much to do outside the Disney Bubble.

I agree 2 days for SW and BG is good. Its hard to plan this far in advance. As soon as the show times are out for SW you can start planning which shows. When we go we always pick a show and after that decide which one we will do next and just do some of the stuff they offer in that area.

BG with the coasters and wait times is a go with the pace kind of place. We just walk around and see the animals and go on the rides as we come to them.

One of the things that many Disney diehards find difficult, too, is the difference in the amount of planning needed for a SW parks vacation as opposed to a Disney parks vacation.

While there is always some level of planning needed to maximize your time, its much easier to go with the flow at SW than at Disney, particularly if you have the Quick Queue passes. No touring strategy required.....just show up early and enjoy! (I will, however, say that at SW its prudent to get to the shows early for the best seat, and plan feed the dolphins when you first arrive at the park).

Have a great time OP.......sounds like you have an awesome trip planned!
