Let me preface by saying that I almost didn't buy tix for this event because the last time we did MVMCP, it was sooooo crowded and my girls were 2 & 4 at the time-they were so tired and it made for a quick exit..... but, I had to do MNSSHP at least once.... so we went Oct. 2nd. Can I just say it was one of the best parts of the trip (and the trip itself was the best trip ever!!! :rotfl: )

We did AK in the morning (EMH early) that day and left by 1pm to rest by Stormalong Bay..... we got to MK @ 4:45pm and were given our wristbands and trick-or-treat bags when we entered. My 4 yr old had fallen asleep en route to the park, so she was asleep in the stroller.... we had dinner reservations @ LTT for 5:35, so to kill some time, we went into Fantasyland. My DH stayed with my 4 yr old DD who was sleeping and I took my 6 yr old DD on the carousel (there were barely any lines for any Fantasyland attraction at this time!!!) While we were waiting to get on, a CM approached my DD and asked her to be the Honorary Princess of the Day in Fantasyland and made this big deal about it in front of all the guests (my DD was dressed in her Belle costume for the MNSSHP). This just totally made her night!!! even though the party hadn't started yet....

We then walked into LTT and the lobby seemed packed but we were seated within 10 min. (which was enough time for us to wake our 4 yr old DD up from her nap!) I've heard negative reviews about the food but all I can say is it was one of the best meals we had while we were there.... everything (even the Stouffer's Mac and Cheese) was quite yummy!! The character interaction was great-Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale, and Pluto visited frequently.

When dinner was over, we walked out of LTT at 6:59pm. Approx. 1 minute later, everything began-my girls had a blast hitting the trick-or-treat stations!!!! We bolted to Adventureland hoping to see Tarzan or Jane since Tarzan is my girls' favorite movie for some reason... :rotfl: We waited in a longish line to see Baloo, Rafiki, and then we turned the corner and there were Jane and Terk.... my DD's wanted to know where Tarzan was.... I told them that he would probably switch off with Jane.... sure enough-2 minutes before we got up there, Tarzan came out and Jane hung out for a couple of minutes so my DD got to meet all 3 of them!!! She was THRILLED!!!!

My 4 yr old's nap helped greatly in giving her a 2nd wind so to speak! We left at 10pm because my 6 yr old was dragging-but all in all, it was so perfect and I wish we could do it again!!!!

We were their at the same time you were! I hope I didn't run over you with my ECV (an experience I hope to never have again).

We had a blast in LTT. Our waitress suggested that we try to figure out who was the characture behind the mask. Each characture gave us hints so we could figure out who they were. Chip and Dale were quite good at this. Dale also took one of my buttered rolls. I hope he enjoyed it!
