For the first time ever, we will be doing the Basic Dining Plan for the first three nights of our split DVC stay. We have done only the Deluxe Dinning plan in the past.
The rationale behind selecting the Basic plan for the first three nights (1 CS and 1 TS without the beloved appetiser) was "character" and buffet dining.
We will be dining with our 7 year old cousin along with our 6 month old infant, so we wanted to introduce all the characters we can to the "little" one.
We will probably do Counter Service at the parks for lunch and then head back to our room for some much needed break. Then we will head back out late afternoon/early evening for:
Day 1. Boma's (will be our first visit)
Day 2. Cinderella Royal Table (prepaid, so will not be converting to T/S)
Day 3. 1900 Park Fare (for Dinner)
Day 4. Chef Mickey's
We will then skip adding any dining plans for the following three nights while we enjoy the comforts of home cooking at our GV (actually only for one night (6th night); since we will be doing the Disney Aloha Spirit Laua for the 5th night and the 4th night we will be dining at the aforementioned Chef Mickey's).
Then for the 2 remaining nights of our WDW trip, we will be reverting back to our usual, the Deluxe. Unfortunately California Grill is fully booked so we opted to stay around BWV and use Epcot as our dining room.
We have booked
Day 7
lunch: Teppan Edo (my favorite Epcot restaurant)
dinner: Flying Fish
Day 8:
breakfast: Akershus Royal Banquet
early dinner (4:30PM): Les Chefs de France
late dinner (8:20PM): Tokyo Table
Day 9:
lunch: Teppan Edo (again)
dinner: United Airline inflight meal service (oh my)
