Just booked flights with VA for our first totally DIY trip next September - last time we did a flydrive and DVC.

We have got PE for myself, DH and DD (age 2) for around £1,700 - a combination of a companion flight and M+M - whihc I don't think is too bad. Did look at UC but decided the additional £2k would be better used elsewhere.

I've now got to book the first 5 nights at BCV through DVC. We are looking to do SSR for the last 5 nights but can't book that until next year. The middle 5 nights will be in Clearwater so will look to book that next year as well along wiith car hire. Here's to lots of research over the coming months.

Sounds great. :thumbsup2

Thats one good thing about DIY you can do so much with your holiday.

Have a great time.

I've booked our january trip with virgin holidays but think our next trip 2008 wether it be for 2 or 3 weeks i think i might give it a go and book diy, so i'm interested in who everyone books with etc so will keep reading these topics to get lots of info. :thumbsup2

:cheer2:  Good luck with the planning  :cheer2:

Sounds like a fab trip ~ Have fun planning :)

Good luck with your planning.

I'm also trying to do a DIY trip for next year with my sister :thumbsup2 . I've been looking at flight prices for the last 3 weeks and still can get a good price pinned down. Once I've done that then I can start planning the accommodation :woohoo: . I need to get this all sorted out within the next 3 weeks :surfweb: or we won't be going anywhere.
