Hi everyone,

This is my second trip to WDW and my bf's first. It's been over 20 years since my last trip and we're excited to be going together.

We decided to stay at CBR with the DxDDP. We took advantage of the free dining promo and upgraded. We both love food and will eat pretty much anything.

This is our plan for dining.

Day 1
Lunch: Le Cellier
Dinner: Nine Dragons

Day 2
Breakfast: Grand Floridian Cafe
Lunch: Sci Fi
Dinner Wolfgang Puck

Day 3
Breakfast: Kouzzina
Lunch: San Angel Inn
Dinner: Teppan Edo

Day 4
Breakfast: Kona
Lunch: undecided yet but we were thinking ESPN Club or Big River Grille
Dinner: Ohana

Day 5
Breakfast: Crystal Palace
Lunch: Liberty Tree Tavern
Dinner: Whispering Canyon

Day 6
Breakfast: Tusker house
Lunch: Yak & Yeti
Dinner: Spirit of Aloha

Day 7
Breakfast: Chef Mickey's
Lunch: Coral Reef
Dinner: Chef de France

Advice or tips for these places are appreciated.

Welcome to the DIS!! Just had to comment since our names are so close :)

Your food options look super yummy!!

Thanks :goodvibes

I'm so glad I found this site. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. :cheer2:

Spirit of Aloha is the only one, In my opinion would steer clear from. Not worth it. The food is blah... rice, chicken and ribs all well below what you could get at a local steak house. As far as the show it is old, cheesy and laughable. The Fire portion of the show is really good but that is about it. Some people like it but you can look up reviews on it anywhere. Just do not want to see you waste points or money.. Want to go to a great 2 pointer use that night for Jiko at the AKL or Narcossee's at the GF Either of those are worth it.

Couldn't agree more!

Welcome to DISboards, looking forward to the review :)

I guess my advice, having done the DXDP twice now, would be that you are spending A LOT of time eating doing three sit down meals in a day, not only the time at the restaurant, but also a lot of time getting to the restaurants. We usually do two meals a day, one early lunch, and one signature dinner, around 7 pm. Our favorite part of the deluxe plan is getting to eat at places like California Grill, Jiko and the Brown Derby. They are usually less crowded and are a more enjoyable experience overall.
I agree with the previous poster, I wouldn’t waste two credits on the Polynesian show, I would go to another signature over it, Jiko or the California Grill. ‘Ohana is a good substitute for it, although it’s only one credit.

I tend to agree with the above poster...you've chosen some AMAZING places...but big meals that take a chunk out of your park time. I personally would do lighter CS for lunches, that way your done in 30 min. The TS lunches/dinners can take up to 90 min EASY. Great choices though!:thumbsup2

looking forward to your review, we are going to some of your choices too, so good to get feedback.

Wow what a list! I agree as well with the spirit of aloha, I'd pick something like Cali Grill (great date for you and your bf especially if you can get a time during Wishes! And even if you can't still a great romantic view at night of MK!)
