:earsgirl: Hi, Need helpful tips before we leave. We are going on our first DC May 29th to the Bahamas on the Wonder. We are in the cabin right next to the Roy Disney suite. I am new to this site and just wondered if there were any helpful tips you all may know to make our trip fabulous. We have 3 daughters 14, 9 and 14mos.We are assuming we won't see the 14 and 9 yr. old for most of the trip. We want to arrange for daycare for one night on board. We were told you cannot do that until you arrive on board, anyone have problems with that? Any info. on anything would be great! :flower: Our girls have never been on a cruise before and they are very excited.

You wil have a great time! I have no experience with the under 3 childcare arranagements, so maybe someone else can help with that.

I do recommend that you have dinner and see the show with your kids every night. My kids liked being in the lab every day, but our rule was that we ate together and saw the show together (and then they could go back to the lab).

Here is a website that has a LOT of information that can help you with your planning, and just keep reading this board. You will learn a lot!

Have a great trip!

So far we are planning to eat together, they definitely want to go to Annimator's palace and we all want to see the shows. We are avid readers of allears.net. I will have to check the other site out, thanks. princess:

When you get on board, I'd suggest you go directly to the nursery to put in your request for babysitting. The night you choose would be a great night to go to Palo's. My hubby and I separated and he did the Palo reservation at a specific time and night and I made the babysitting ressie for that time plus a few hours before and after, just to make sure we were covered.

You may or may not see your kids.......my older one preferred to be with us over the clubs. And we all had a great time...

We were in the room next to the Roy Suite also for our first cruise on the Wonder two years ago. We also had five of us. It was a great location. Enjoy!

Hey, does that mean you're in "MY" cabin?

8532?

The best advise I can give is to not feel overwelmed. There are so many great things to do onboard that you may feel like your missing something. But not to worry, just relax and enjoy whatever you can. Besides you can always do more on your next cruise! :earboy2:

Go to the top of this board to the Cruise Meet section and "talk" with those going on your cruise!!

You might even find some kids for your kids to IM with before the trip!!! Especially the teen.

When you first board, you go to Flounder's to make the nursery reservations, send DH to make the Palo ressies. After that, go make any spa ressies you might want. Then register the kids for the kiddo programming, or eat lunch first then register kids. Flounder's, Palo, and the spa will (or might) fill up. The kid programming will not fill--your kids have a guaranteed spot for registration purposes.

My DD has "grown up" on the Magic....and loves the programming in The Stack. Not to be missed is the teen excursion on Castaway and the "Gotcha" game. Do go to the "Cruise Meets" sections and post asking for any other teens on the ship to e-mail you. It's great when a couple of them can have an "on-line" meeting before the cruise.
