Our family thinks we're crazy....My first ever PTR

That dress is so stinkin' cute!! Do you think I could get my teenager to wear one??

GREAT JOB on the dress!! These are the days that I wish I could have dressed up a little girl. She is adorable.

Your dd is adorable! I love the dress!
We ate at 1900, 50's prime time, and ohana last trip.
We didn't have any interaction at 50's, but the food was good. Some of the food was lacking at Ohana's- but the rest was really good. My favorites were the shrimp, steak, salad, and of course the dessert. I thought the noodles were bland, the pork dry, and the broccoli too al dente. My favorite of the food at 1900 was the mashed potatoes. The sisters were hilarious! I'd go back to any of these!

following your PTR noticed your cp tradition. Do you have problems getting to MK for the 8 A.M. breakfast before the park opens?

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'm really hoping for a good server at 50's. DH isn't...lol. He's a bit shy. If they sense that you're not "into" the shtick, will they back off? I don't want to make DH miserable.

We've never had any trouble, but we've almost always rented a car and just drove ourselves there. The only time we've taken the bus was back on our 2005 trip when we stayed at POFQ. We got out to the bus stop at 7:15am (I think) for a 8:15am ressie. If I remember correctly, there were other families waiting for a bus as well. No problem. I do remember asking about our ADR when we checked in and they told us that we wouldn't have any issues catching a bus to MK that early. Once we got to the turnstiles at MK, we just showed them our ADR that the front desk had printed out for us when we checked in and we were on our way. I love getting to MK especially before rope drop because you can get some incredible pictures of an empty Main Street.

Hi everyone. Just checking in.

I found out today that DH took two extra days off of work for our trip. Since we're going Wednesday to Wednesday, we are throwing around the idea of staying until Friday now. Wish me luck....I'm trying to talk DH into staying at a Deluxe for an extra night or two now. :hyper: I'll let you know what we decide!

Hope everyone had an awesome day!

Followed you over from my PTR. Your little girl is adorable. My boys are also obsessed with all things Disney.

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Busy with life and whatnot.

So I have totally messed up my back. I strained it on Sunday and it has been a nightmare to deal with. Today has been the worst. I'm literally flat on my back as I type this (thank goodness for laptops). I can't even stand up straight. :sad2: I made a chiropractor appointment for tomorrow. Praying for some relief. What's sad is I have no idea how I did it. I worked in our flower beds weeding and such on Saturday and when I got out of bed on Sunday, my back was out. (it stinks getting old!)

So, anyhoo, DH nixed the extra days idea. I'm quitting my job in August to stay home with Allie, so we're way more conscious about spending money. So, I'll be happy with our 7 day trip and enjoy every minute of it.

My MIL has invited herself along on the trip now too. I have a "the more the merrier" outlook on this. I am blessed with an awesome MIL, so I know that it'll be that much more fun with her with us. She's already told us that she'll watch Allie a night or two, so we can do date night. YAY for MILs!

Hope everyone's having an awesome week.

Hi eveyone! Hope you all had an awesome week.

Well, I went to the chiropractor and it turns out my hips were out of alignment. Got an awesome massage and am feeling somewhat better. I have to go back Monday.

She told me to take it easy this weekend. Shouldn't be too hard considering it is going to be 103 outside tomorrow. :scared1: This is a seriously early heat wave for North Texas. We usually don't get these temps until July. Praying we get some rain soon.

So, I'll be spending the entire weekend sewing. I'll post pictures of the finished projects once I complete. I'm making Allie a Jesse (Toy Story) twirl skirt and some other dresses. Got about 10 yards of fabric to work with. Fun times! :)

Trying to snag that 'Ohana ADR too. Still not having any luck.

OH! We're out of the 90s and in to the 80s now! 89 days to go!:banana::banana::banana: Our trip is almost paid off too! YUP! So exciting!

How does one knock their hips out of alignment?! I am sure that mine are a mess because I have heel spurs. I think that when I walk, I make adjustments that mess up my knees, hips, and back. Glad to hear that you are on the mend.

Those Ohana reservations can be elusive. I managed to snag one for my girls trip - but it's at 8:10pm - and my only other option that whole week was at 9:55pm. Can you imagine eating that late??

I can't wait to see your creations!

toooo cute!!!

I've been away for a week and am now trying to catch up... :surfweb:

Hope you've been able to rest this weekend and get to feeling better soon!

Also catching up!
Please send some of your heat this way. We've been having the worst June ever. Not that we'd ever have anything too hot way up here, but we're getting 10 degrees! (50f) Chilly.
Hope you get yourself feeling better! Hips out of alignment can not be fun.
Best of luck with the 'Ohana ADR!

Hi all. Thanks for the well wishes. I think I'm on the mend.

The chiropractor thinks that my hips got in the shape that they are in over time. I work in a preschool and I'm constantly stooping, bending, up and down AND I have a part time photography business so it all has taken its toll. Good news is that I'm feeling much better.

Well, we are 83 days out and counting! It'll be here before you know it! I'm so ready. We're booking our airfare tonight! YAY! Southwest has finally come down to what we were hoping to pay. We found a good rate on Airtran, but Southwest is our preferred carrier (mainly because they fly out of Dallas Love and it's a way smaller airport and closer to home). Does Southwest participate in Magical Express? It would be so nice to check our luggage and not have to deal with it again until we're in our room.

Hope everyone's had a great week.
