On top of everything yesterday.... My dad went 24hours without a cigarette. I sure hope he can keep it up. He has been developing so many health concerns.

It is so hard to quit smoking. I will say a special prayer about that because I have been there and I know just how hard it is.

Thanks Michele. mr bua is still in the hospital and my dad has been with him most of the day so he is not alone. He has pneumonia.

My dad had that last month....they also found out he has severe emphasema.....my dad hasn't smoked in 54 yrs. Anyways, pnemonia can be scary if he's elderly....hopefully he'll be able to get up & move around....it would be the best way to get better quicker.

Thanks Laurie. My Dad is amazing. One of my goals in life has always been to just make my Dad proud. I have learned so much from him. This trips going to be so great, for all of us.

I'm sorry you had a rough day......I've been having a few of those myself. I can't believe how badly I need this time away to get my head on straight.

My mom had a tough battle with pneumonia last year and up until then I really had no idea how hard it can be to fight back from.

It's actually my Dad's neighbor that has pneumonia. He's still in the hospital. I'm starting to worry that if my Dad doesn't stay away from the hospital HE is going to end up sick. On another note....still no smoking for Dad! yay!

I know I can't wait. I only have an hour and a half left of work! Although, I may have to come in for an hour or so tomorrow. I've just been so busy today. I'm shoveling down a few bites right now just because I couldn't wait any longer. Vacation is a comin!
