Our extra special trip with Papa (TR in progress)

They have two kid's meals. They are the Lunchbox Classic has a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and apple slices and the Junior All-American includes a chilled fried chicken drumstick, apple slices, and Goldfish crackers. All of the kid’s meals also include your choice of low-fat milk, juice box, or water, as well as a vanilla confetti cupcake, and a souvenir World of Color light up bracelet.

On the dining section for Disneyland on DISboards, there is a description of the meals with pictures. Under the Junior Meals there are three lunches listed. Based on the order page on Disneyland's website, they no longer offer the Little Squirt Box. Here is the link to this page. Scroll towards the middle of the page to find the picnic meals.

Here is a link to the Disneyland order page. WOC Picnics with Reserved Viewing If you click on the slide show option on the picture placed on the top of the page, you can find Disney's picture and description of all the meals.

Hope that helps.

Thank you! :flower3: Sounds like the picnic meal may be the way to go for WOC.

We liked the lunches we ordered. I was able to pick them up at 12:30pm. The FP colors were blue or yellow. We got blue (we asked them) and got to stand on the bridge to view the WOC. Every CM we asked where was the best spot to see the WOC, each one said "The bridge". I think it is a good place to start to see the WOC, but I am looking forward to seeing it in another section.

Thanks for the tip. :thumbsup2

I'm getting so excited for our trip. We're buying our tickets through GAT this weekend. I think we decided to just do all 6 days at Disney considering the cost to do Universal or Knotts. It will be great, it always is. I can tell my Dad is getting really excited too. I just keep thinking of all the wonderful memories he and Ayden are going to make. I am definitely going to get the Photopass again since that will probably be the only way I get pictures of myself. I'll be behind the camera snapping pictures of Ayden and Papa the whole time. :)

I can't stop looking at pictures from our past trips. Ayden looks so tiny. He's so excited to do Space Mountain this year for the first time too!

Here are some pictures from a past trip. My TR is in need of pics!!!

She had the kids meal with chicken and a cupcake. Said it was delicious. But how can a cupcake not be delicious?

What kind of soup is that? Looks so yummy.

It is amazing. It's the Loaded Baked Potato soup from Carnation Cafe. An absolute must try. Oscar, the chef comes out and visits the customers. If you ask he will give you the soup receipe.

We ordered our tickets yesterday through GAT! I should be getting my ET book this week. We always get the whole book since we use it so much anyway. Carol is going to send me a nametag so I'll have it the whole week. I'm going to work on my LGMH today. Bling Bling! :thumbsup2

One step closer!!! I got Mike's thru Disney Travel when I made our PPH ressie.....now I'm debating whether to renew my AP before the trip or wait & renew there.....it's good thru March 7. I'm afraid if I go online & order it....the new card won't show up in time.....that would be my luck!

You're staying at the HoJo right? I've never had an ET book......schools used to fundraise with books similiar & I never used the stuff in them.....I always forget about them...lol

Yea on the name tag & LGMH!!!!!

We are hoping to go back the first week of December so I should be getting our AP's but I'm not...crazy I know. Last time we got AP's though they went to waste and we never went back. :(

Yep, we're staying at HOJO's :goodvibes We use the book so much that it pretty much pays for itself in a few months.

I worked on my LGMH. It looks awful. I think I'll stick with the generic one. :sad2:

My countdown is officially under 3 weeks and I'm so happy. It's not a minute too soon.
:banana::cool1::banana::cool1::banana::cool1:

Yeah!! :yay: Soon you will be on our way to the Happiest Place on Earth.

It won't be long before it says 1 week and so many days!

I am just praying for good weather while we're down there. I'm having some serious Spring Fever! :cool1:

What's wrong with your LGMH? I'm sure it looks fine. Mine is done.. well kinda but my DD won't leave it alone so I have to put back a couple of the "diamonds" back on it. lol

I just looks funny. I laminated it then cut around it and it just doesn't look right. I added the "bling" and then put it in my lanyard. I'll have to take a picture of it. I'm hoping to get my nametag for the Diva trip and may just use that.

So my Dad doesn't have much preference on planning with this trip. Back when I was a kid we just went, there wasn't this month to year long planning that took place before. So that being said, he doesn't care where we eat what days we do what, etc etc. Just call me Julie the cruise director calling the shots. :rotfl:

So to organize my thoughts, here's what I have so far.

Our flight arrives in Long Beach around 10am. We'll probably just take a taxi to HOJO's. Hoping we just get the $45 flat rate.

I doubt our room will be ready, athough I'm hopeful. If not we'll just have them keep our luggage and head straight to the park. I'm sure by this time we'll be ready for lunch so who knows where we'll end up. Maybe Rancho del Zocalo. It's always quick. We'll be arriving around the busiest time of day so whatever is quick and easy. Sunday night we're also hoping to catch the fireworks. I always make that a must do early on in the trip, again since they get cancelled so easy.

Monday, open day..nothing planned besides enjoying the parks. Maybe catch WOC?

Tuesday we have PS at Carnation Cafe for lunch at 11:50. We'll probably also make this our EE day.

Wednesday, again no plans or reservations set yet but I'm thinking about suprising dad with Blue Bayou. He has always wanted to eat there but wasn't impressed when I showed him the menu. Can't say I blame him. The MC is ok but when I had the chicken it was tasteless and dry. I miss going for the cookie boat. :guilty:

Thursday we have lunch reservations at Cafe Orleans. One of my favorite places.

Friday is our last day and thank goodness it's a late night!!! Hoping to try the BBQ behind BTMRR. mmm Mmmmm

So that's about it, just counting down the days, I am so ready for this vacation!
