My aunt rented a Lite Rider - Portable Model scooter through ScooterBug a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately we had a couple of issues that I wanted to share with you. We were not provided instructions at drop-off, so it took some playing with it to determine how to disassemble and reassemble for transport in a car. Also, we were not told that the battery gauge is only accurate *when scooter is in motion*. This resulted in a dead battery on our way back to the car at the end of a long day and had to wait an hour for it to recharge. (fortunately Disney staff was extremely accommodating even though it was long after the park had closed)

Also, the key broke in the lock and we had an extremely difficult time getting a hold of anyone at ScooterBug to resolve the issue. Eventually (4-5 hours after we first called) we had a replacement key, but that was after leaving numerous messages. We could not get a live person on the phone despite trying many different methods of communicating with them. So while it was eventually resolved, it was very frustrating in the meantime. There should be an emergency number available. (we did call the after-hours emergency number listed on the keytag but that didn't get us in touch with anyone)
