After receiving so much help from these boards, I wanted to report on our week of dining. My family of 6 was there Dec 17-24. We are DVC members and have been to WDW frequently but haven't eaten at many TS restaurants, preferring to be less scheduled with our meals. My 4 kids are older (teens and 20's) so I decided to buy a TIW card and schedule several TS restaurants that we have always seen but never tried. We had 12 ADR's for the 6 1/2 park days! To make a long story short, we ended up cancelling 3 dinners and 1 lunch ADR mostly because we were too full! We should have cancelled a 4th dinner ADR but we really wanted to eat at Boma and I pushed the time later that day in hopes that we would be ok. We ended up eating at Boma at 9:10 pm but after a fabulous noon lunch at Homecoming at DS, we weren't hungry at all. The days that did work with 2 sit-down meals were: BOG at 2 and Ohana at 8:45; Crystal Palace at 10:30 and Flying Fish at 7:30; Sci Fi at 11 with Top of the World Lounge appetizers at 7:00 and Wishes Dessert Party at 8:45. We love Epcot and spent 2 evenings and 1 full day there and found that eating around the world remains our favorite thing. In the end, we still spent almost $2000 on 9 sit-down meals and saved $200 above and beyond the $150 cost of the TIW card. Overall we spent $300 less on food than the DDP would have cost and felt like we had more flexibility. We may have had more food on the DDP, but we certainly didn't need it.
