Thanks for joining Jen! I almost got Christmas colored shirts, but I wanted to be able to wear them all year round. We are so excited here that our August trip is just "9 sleeps" away! The luggage is out and I have all of our Disney shirts pulled. The boys tend to coordinate and DH has similar shirts. It's fun for us I highly recommend rollupanddye from ETSY (I hope I have her name written correctly!) She did a great job on our shirts!

Hi Gina! Thanks for joining! I didn't realize that you were also going during the holidays! Sounds like you have a great trip planned! I haven't focused on Christmas as much since our August trip popped up last month. Did you join the December Facebook group?

I haven't yet.....never sure if the others want me to join in when its not a "Disney-only" trip. I haven't even been added to the list on the December disboards thread for the same reason, I would guess!!!

We have been planning our August getaway since January, so its been all organized for quite a while. It has given me lots of time to focus on the Christmas trip while we wait for our August departure date to arrive .

One of your fellow August Disers joining in on your Christmas PTR .

We will be in Orlando almost the same times as you......tho we arrive and depart one day later (Dec. 23 - Dec. 30).

Our fam is staying onsite at SeaWorld, but we're planning on taking in a little bit of everything Orlando has to offer.......SeaWorld, Aquatica, Downtown Disney (with a dinner ressie at T-Rex, a first for us ), breakfast at Ohana (a family favourite ) followed by a tour of the deluxe resorts via monorail to see the Christmas decorations, Gatorland, an airboat ride, and my boys are super excited to attend the Orlando Magic/Toronto Raptors game on the 29th .

This will be the first time we are away from home on Christmas Day and missing the extended family holiday celebrations. Kind of sad to be away from my mom on Christmas Eve, but still totally pumped to be heading to the sun and warmth!!!!

Hi Gina-Gina-Bo-Bina, we were looking into that basketball game as well being fellow Canadians but we are also down while the Heat and Bulls are in town so we are kinda having a hard time deciding which game to attend! Too many great options! Hope you enjoy the game you are attending!

Thanks mrstomrice! We are staying offsite at the Regal Palms, I'm a bit bummed as I do love Disney so much but the price difference for us was huge being a family of 5. I'm super excited still though as seeing Disney at Christmas is going to be a dream come true for me! I will check that seller out on Etsy ( I love shopping on there)! Look forward to hearing more from you on your plans!!!

We're here in Disney!!!!!! The first day was good....learned about the hotel and headed to DTD. We just changed our plan for tomorrow and now we are heading to MK and we'll eat at Ohana for dinner! Time to wear our tie dye shrits!
