Dear Fellow Disers,

I know that its been a while since my last post, and SOOOOO much has happened since the wedding, but I'd love to give you a rundown of what I've been going through since June. I want you to read this and pass it along because I would never want any bride to go through the struggles I've had with Disney. Let me start off by saying that both DH and myself were former castmembers, and and realize that there are certain standards that Disney should uphold to.

Some of you may remember what a nightmare DH and I had planning our wedding. We had the French Island at EPCOT booked for months and then after our menu tasting, just 2 months prior to the wedding, we found out that they had extra magic hours the night of our wedding. I was not a happy camper. To make a long story shorter, we argued with our planner, ended up changing wedding planners. Settled on a lot of things for the wedding because of budget, and through a lot of money down the toilet just in the planning.

Saturday, June 9: We arrive at DH's parents house in Clermont, FL. It feels great to be so close to the wedding, but still so much to do. I still had all of my guest bags to make, favors to make, and I'm sure countless other things to do. I don't remember too much from the next few days. Nothing in particular stands out.
I finally got all of the bags together and delivered them all over creation.
We did get to spend a little time at the parks.

Tuesday, June 12: My MOH's 25th birthday and my 2nd bachlorette party! My parents and I went to EPCOT in the late evening. My parents took my son and spent some time with him while I went drinking around the world showcase with my MOH and our friend Jen. I was told that they had a shirt for me to wear and it just happened to be a Jen's & Friends tank top (my name happens to be Jenn, and our friend Jen owns a bar named after her). I loved it. We danced around EPCOT and had a blast. Not the best idea to start off with a shot of Jaegar in Germany though. We ended the evening with a taxi ride that dropped me off at OKW and taking the girls back to the All-Star.

Wednesday, June 13: Surprisingly not the lazy day I had imagined. I did pass on going to the parks with my MOH. My DS woke up early, and my DD took him swimming. We had our Rehearsal at 4pm at the Wedding Pavilion. It was interesting. Not at all like I imagined. Before I knew it, it was over. There was a huge storm brewing outside, and luckily it decided to pass over. We left the WP and headed over to my parent's Grand Villa at OKW. It was beautiful. My mom brought in flowers and decorations. She had made a Tuscan theme since my MIL was making lasagna. We had a great time. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Sorry... to be continued!

sounds ok so far...im anxious to hear how everything ended up :)

Well, like everyone has said so far, it sounds like everything's going ok up to this point. Your wedding planning sounded like an absolute nightmare though! I would be beyond upset especially so close to the wedding when everything is supposed to be set at that point. UGH!

It sounds wonderful so far. I konw that things did not go perfectly on our day either, but with time alot of that has faded, and I am happy that I am married to the man no matter what the situation is.

I'm sorry to hear about all of your issues with Disney. That is really unfortunate.

I'm excited to hear about the wedding details though! Thanks for starting your PJ!

So far - sounds great. Sorry you had problems with Disney. We are planning on a wedding next November and we are going down this November for a site visit. Interested in what problems you had and how they can be avoided in the future.

Linda

Oh Gosh - I remember all of that happening....I know I am with you I had some mishaps as well, luckily I did not know all that transpired until after they happened so it did not ruin the actual day...honeymon could have been better, though - no thanks to Disney!
