We just back from a great trip, leaving just hours before Charlie.
We are me, my dh, and our nine year old daughter. Wer're frequent Orlando visitors but new DVC members. We stayed two nights at the Sheraton Safari, two nights at CSR. and four nights at BWV.
Thursday - pizza from Pizza Hut. It was next door to the Sheraton Safari and perfect after a long day of driving.
Friday - lunch - Sweet Tomatoes on I - Drive. This is our typical place to eat after Sea World and it's always really good. For less than $30, we get a great meal that doesn't feel heavy.
Friday - dinner - Chilis to go - We love the fajita quesadillas.
Saturday - lunch - Garden Grill at Epcot. We always enjoy this meal because unlike many character meals this one is really relaxing. The food is good and plentiful and we had perfect service.
Saturday - dinner - Pop Century food court. I had a steak wrap and fries, dd had a peanut butter fluff kids meal and my dh had nachos. THe food was good and relatively inexpensive. It also surprisingly wasn't crowded. It gave us a chance to see Pop Century too.
Sunday - lunch - Pepper Market at CSR. My dh and I had burrito specials and our daughter had chicken fingers. We thought this was an overpriced meal. It was really crowded too. I don't think we'd go back although it was convenient.
Sunday - dinner - appetizers at Rainforest cafe. We wouldn't ordinarily eat here but it was raining as Ak closed. It was fine.
Monday - lunch - Chefs De France. It was our best meal of the trip. I had the special (onion soup, ham/cheese sandwich, creme brulee). My dh had quiche and my daughter had chicken fingers. It was a great meal for a reasonable price (about $40). We loved it and will be back.
Monday - dinner - calzones from the BW pizza window. This were great and we supplemented with food in the room.
