Just wanted to share my Dec. itinerary with all you experts. As you can see, we're not planning much park hopping, but we do have the option on our tickets in case we decide we want to. Since the parks are mostly only open until 7:00 during our dates, we figured we'd stick with one park a day. On the trip will be me, DH, DS11 and DS8 (no really little kids). Let me know what you think!
Dec 15 - Fly from California; arrive in Orlando at 6:30 p.m., pick up car, check into Pop. No plans for the evening.
Dec 16 - Epcot; dinner at Le Cellier at 5:50; late Candlelight Processional.
Dec 17 - Chef Mickey's at 10:10 a.m., Disneyquest/DTD. Planet Hollywood at 7:00 p.m.
Dec 18 - MGM; lunch at Sci Fi at 1:30; Fantasmic/Osborne Lights.
Dec 19 - MK; DH and DS11 meet for Steam Train tour at 7:15 a.m. Mom and little guy have breakfast at Contemporary, enter MK at opening, hit Fantasyland together, meet the other guys when their tour ends around 10:30. Plaza Restaurant at 11:30; Wishes at 6:00; Grand Floridian Cafe at 7:30.
Dec 20 - Kennedy Space Center for the day; Whispering Canyon at 7:00 p.m.
Dec 21 - Cape May Character Breakfast at 10:00; Free Day, Resort Hopping, rest, laundry, etc. Enter MK at 4:00 p.m. for MVMCP. Crystal Palace at 5:00.
Dec 22 - AK; Rainforest Cafe at 7:15.
Dec 23 - Epcot; no ADRs today; Candlelight Processional in case we missed it the first day or we want to see it again.
Dec 24 - Whatever we feel like - park hopping, resort hopping, shopping, packing, maybe a trip to see Gaylord Ice. Concourse Steakhouse at 5:30 for Christmas Eve dinner. Maybe into MK after dinner, depending upon crowds.
Dec 25 - 9:35 a.m. flight home to California. Arrive at 2:30. Dinner/presents with the folks.
We will have a rental car so getting to ADRs and out to Kennedy won't be a problem. We're also on the dining plan so I made sure to schedule in our 10 TS meals. CS should be covered between lunches at the parks and breakfasts at POP. Shouldn't have any problem using up the snacks with two boys in tow (3 if you count DH). Thanks for reviewing my itinerary!
