Our Christmas Trip 12/23 - 12/29 Final Observations

We had a great time overall. Yes it was very crowded, yes there were rude people but we still had a great time. We would and are doing it again in 2003!

We rented our scooter from Care Medical. It was delivered when it was supposed to be. We had one major problem (the scooter died when we got back to the hotel) and they were there in 1 hour to replace it.

Did breakfast in the room for the first few days. After that we ditched it and ate at the food court because it was so reasonable. Also brought a cooler for drinks and milk and that worked out well.

No problem taking snacks into the parks. Backpacks were thoroughly searched.

Glad we brought a lot of winter clothes because it was cold, cold, cold!!

Thanks for the great reports. We are going in 5 days and I have been monitoring the weather like crazy -- seems it will not get below 45 at night when we are there -- which to me is a t shirt, covered by a fleece, covered by another fleece jacket, with gloves if we are going to be outside for a long time. Was it colder than that when you were there? Did you end up wearing winter coats?

Yes it was colder than that when we were there. We're from NJ and we still had to wear our winter coats. I would say be prepared!
