October 17
I guess I will start from the beginning. After I finished packing up (I overpacked) I went to check in online for our SW boarding passes. I got a message saying I had to check in at the airport for our flight. This really gave me a bad feeling to the start to our first family vacation. I started stressing over everything. I checked and rechecked all our reservations and everything else was fine.
October 18
The next moring we are at the airport bright and early at 6am. As it turns out my 2 year old is on the Do Not Fly List. When they said this was DD5 got really upset because she didn't think they would let her brother on the plane to see MM. Before I knew a guy came out of the back and gave my kids 2 disposible camera, stressballs, coloring books, can cozy's, and decks of cards. It was a great magical start to our vacation. We preboarded with no problem. They kids flew great for thier first time. I was really proud of them.
When arriving in Orlando, check in for ME went very quickly. I would highly recommend this service to anyone. The video in the beginning was very cute. My DS was getting very excited. We were the third stop on the trip. Our bus was all All*Stars resorts. We checked in at ASMO and took the kids for a walk around the resorts to show them all the larger then life characters they just loved this resort ans so did we. After a quick lunch in the food court which was not the least bit crowded we went back to our room and our luggage had arrived a little over an hour after we did.
We went shopping at DTD and took the kids to the pool. While we were gone Tinkerbelle managed to leave a Cindy dress for our upcoming CRT for DD5 and some special toys for DS2. We wanted to rest up for our big day to MK with CRT lunch so we called it an early night.
OUR MK DAY COMING SOON

Your poor DD thinking they wouldn't let her little brother on the plane! My DD 4 would have reacted the same way--I'm glad it worked out and they got treats:) Can't wait to read the rest of your report!

what a wonderful employee of the airlines......makes you feel like ......YUP DISNEY MAGIC started all ready.......thanks for your report.....oh by the way.....we love movies too

The kids were up bright and early ready to go for the day. They were very excited. I wanted to make sure we got there in time to see the offical park opening. As soon as they say the train pulled up both of my kids were smiling, jumping up and down, and waving to Mickey. It brought tears to my eyes. I was just so happy to see how excited they were. My DH just laughed and kissed my forehead, but he knew how much this meant to me. After a quick hello with Mickey and Goofy we got the kids their ears. DS wore them proudly just like a "big boy". They were in aw with everything so we took it kind of slow to let them soak it all in. I am so glad we did it this way.
Now we are off to CRT after a quick change into DD's Cindy dress. The castle was beautiful. I have never been in it before. I really liked the atmosphere. I thought DH was going to spit his soda out when he was referred to as "My Lord". My DD really loved the royal treatment. My DS was just really excited to see Snow White. HE just loves her. He likes to wear DD's dress around the house when DH is not home.LOL. The princessed came and went rather quickly. Mary Poppins was my favorite. She does a great job! The food itself was pretty good. We really did not feel rushed by our server she was really great with the kids.
The crowds weren't too bad I think our longest wait was maybe 20 minutes. We skipped the afternoon parade. We managed to get alot done during this time. We had dinner at Cosmic Rays. I felt it was crowded but at 6pm everywhere would be crowded. We found a spot to watch the parade right infront of the castle. It was great to sit there, I loved just to sit and watch my DD gaze up at the castle. We also sat next to a family with a DD named Taylor. My DD really enjoyed watching the parade with her. When the fireworks came we didn't see anything because of how close to the castle we were. But I loved to hear the music. It was am EMH night and the crowds were not bad IMO. My dd and DH walked right on BTMRR and after a couple of shops we headed for ASMo. We did have to wait for the bus for awhile. Now ASMo has their own bus for MK. When we finally got a bus after about 5 minutes it broke down. They thought it lost its transmission. They had a new bus for us within minutes. When we got back to ASMo DD and DH met up with Taylor and her mom at the pool.
Coming soon AK and MNSSHP

Awwww...you brought tears to my eyes remembering how excited my kids were when we went to Disneyland for the first time. :goodvibes:

Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to the next installment. What fun!

I will just start off by saying I wish we could have spent the whole day at AK. We just loved it! We had an 8:20 ADR for Donald's breakfast. The food was was good there was alot to choose from, we will be back. The characters came and went rather quickly. My kids didn't care. They were just excited to finally see Donald. Donald is their fave because he has a temper like DS. The tree of life was beautiful. My DD used up her whole camera taking pictures of all the animals. She just loves seeing them upclose. THe bats were her fave. I think it is because halloween is so close. We left AK around 1. The heat and humidity was getting to be a bit much for us to handle. So off we went to ASMo for a nap and a dip in the pool before getting ready for MNSSHP.
We arrived at MNSSHP around 6:30. We were able to walk on everything in fantasy land even Dumbo. That alone was well the price of the tickets. We figured we would focus on rides because the lines for most of the characters were really long. THe kids had a great time at the dance party. They also loved being called Kim Possible and Stitch by all the cast members. The fireworks and parade left me speechless. They were the best I have everseen. We watched the 10pm parade. It was alot less crowded. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The gravediggers really got my DD good. I have never seen her jump back so far. DS loved to see Pooh and friends dressed up. He just kept saying Piglet flower. I loved watching the kids faces more then anything on this trip. Their expressions were priceless. After the parade we headed to Toontown. We walked right on to Goofy's coaster back to back. Then we did the Alice treat or treat walk. It was not to crowded. We got handfuls sometimes 2 from the CM's passing it out. I never thought we would get that much. Then on the way out by Timekeeper we got our family photo done with no wait at all. We were in a line earlier in the night but it was just too long so we passed on this. I would wait again till the end of the night to get our pictures done. MNSSHP was great! We are already trying to figure out dates for next year.
Coming soon MGM

We got off to a late start this day. The kids were very excited to see "cha cha" Bear in the Big Blue House. We could have sat through that show over and over again the kids just loved it. Next we went to go and see the tour with Chicken Little and the end. Chicken Little was great with the kids. They also really enjoyed The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. We ate at 50's Prime TIme and I don't think we will go back again. OUr lunch took just over and hour and a half. We had to wait 20 minutes for our desserts to arrive. The crowds were not bad at all. The kids also loved the parade as Cruella stopped to chat with them it was a very cute moment. Then the rains came and we left for the day.
ON the 22nd we had to be out for ME by 4:15 am. This is the one thing I would change. I would have a later flight coming home. ME going back was OK. My DD got sick on the bus and vomitted all over her new cheerleader Minnie t-shirt. THe bus driver didn't even have paper towels for us to clean up the mess on the floor. So we ended up using all our wipes to clean everything up. We gave the bus driver a big tip so hopefully there was no hard feelings. I am still trying to get the stains out of her shirt. So I maybe asking Disers soon if anyone will be going to the ESPN store at DTD. We had a great trip. We are ready to plan next years. For us October is the time to go!
