Great location. Nice view. We generally don't care for first floor rooms but had no issues here. Very nice to sit out on the patio drinking coffee in the morning.

Believe it or not it really was. Being on the first floor I was expecting to feel like a lab experiment (everybody watching through the glass) & even though there is a walkway to the left, pedestrian "traffic" never felt intrusive.

I will say, I do wish they would add sheers but for standard points I was expecting a loading dock view.

LOL!! That's *exactly* how we felt in our 1st floor VWL studio a couple of years ago.

I didn't realize the 1st floor rooms were really ground floor. It is a very pretty view, but with the lack of sheer curtains, I'd be concerned with a lack of privacy in the evening.

I am happy to see such reasonable views from the lower floors. I am not a fan of heights and would love any room 7 floors and lower!

Thanks for sharing! I would be happy with that view when we stay in a standard view room. I think everyone that stays at BLT should let the front desk & DVC know that sheers are needed for privacy & to help with the sun/heat. Thanks for posting your pictures.

There were no sheers in our OVIR at Vero Beach either. We were on the top floor, facing the ocean so it wasn't that they were needed for privacy but I missed them anyway. The drapes were very heavy so it was either NO light or ALL light. They offer more light control & I would've liked to have had them.
