We have gone back in forth on this trip for the last year, but I think I finally have what I want.

The Into:

Me: My name is Christine, I love Donald Duck and all things Disney. Have been to disney atleast 12 times in my life, probably more. I have OCD when it comes to planning our vacations. This trip is for my 40th Birthday and our 10th Anniversary.

DH: Jerry (44), loves Goofy and making me happy. He goes along with anything I want to do, which can get us in trouble sometimes. He use to live in Tampa, so he has gone to Disney several times, but this also means I have to see my in-laws on my vacation.

DD: Kayla (20), loves to many characters to count and ALL Things Disney, takes after her mother.

DD: Kaitlin (15), Like her father, just goes for the ride. Loves Tinker Bell.

DS: Nick (15), Loves Buzz and Stitch. Typical 15 year old Boy

This is a surprise trip for the Kids and My Husband.

The last time we were at Disney World, I decided I was going to start saving for our 2011 trip for my 40th Birthday for my husband and I, we weren't going to take the kids. When I was able to book our room in 2010, before the rates came out, I booked us at POP, we love this hotel and couldn't see staying anywhere else. At this point, we decided to take the kids, so we booked a second room. Then we decided to upgrade to the Beach Club. When the 2011 rates came out we were disappointed in how the pricing had changed. We canceled all the reservation and decided to go to Myrtle Beach, we booked a room at our normal resort and everything was fine. On New Year's Day 2011, I started looking at Disney again, after looking at the pricing and speaking to my husband, we decided to cancel our trip to Myrtle Beach and booked our trip to Disney, 2 rooms at POP. This is where the surprises start coming. The kids think we are still going to Myrtle Beach, they have not been told things have switched again.

Getting in on a PTR before page 10!!!! Can't wait to hear about big surprises!

And congrats on turning 40 the same year as Disney, how perfect.

I had paid off our rooms the beginning of March and was reading ticket options. We knew this was going to be a relaxing vacation, really only wanted to do one day in the parks (Epcot). I came across ticket options, 1 day park ticket with waterparks and more option gives you 1 day park, 2 days waterparks or Disney Quest. So, I called and added the tickets to our room. Again, everything was good, but then a few days later, the 30% discount came out on the deluxe hotels for while we were there. I called and for $50 more we could upgrade to the Beach Club Resort. We are now booked at the Beach Club, Garden View room, this is the 1st of April and again, we are happy with our plan and the kids still don't know. I made reservations for Chef's De France Lunch for DD20, who loves Remy and Dinner at Cape May Clambake (a surprise for my husband for our anniversary).

And now we are at the end of April and I have been thinking, again. Now that we are staying at the Beach Club, I would rather not do the waterparks since we have this great pool area to enjoy at the resort. After speaking to my DH, we decided to take the waterpark and more option off the tickets. I called the other morning, after doing some research, and downgraded our tickets to just a 1 day park ticket and when they asked me if I would like to have the money refunded to my credit card, I said no, I want to upgrade our room to a Deluxe Club level Room! This is DH other surprise, I am not telling him. With the money I saved by downgrading our tickets and the money I was going to spend to order breakfast food from Garden Grocer, this upgrade cost me $200 for the week. Not bad for getting a bigger room for the 5 of us.

I have these books made for the kids, the front page looks exactly like my book I made for the Myrtle Beach Vacation, but when they turn that page it is all about our trip to POP Century. We will give these books to the kids the evening before we leave. We were going to wait until we were on our way to give them to the kids, but since we will be flying this time instead of driving (another surprise) we needed them to know why we were packing differently. Our flight leaves at 7 am and lands at 9 am, we will take magical express to our resort, Beach Club (they will not find out where we are staying until we get there). Then the big surprise, when we are lead up to the Club Level Check in. I can not wait, everyone says I won't be able to keep all the surprises, but I have kept them for 4 months and only have 90 days left to go, I am determined to keep this a secret.

I am so excited, 89 days left, less then 3 month's, actual, 2 months, 3 weeks and 6 days!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

So tired of the rain, I am ready for summer. I am originally from Alliance Ohio, what a small world

Oh, surprising the kids sounds like fun! I wouldn't be able to do that... I get too excited and would spill the beans!

Can't wait to hear more about your plans

Believe me, there have been plenty of times I have almost said something, but I come to the disboards instead

So, yesterday, I had a seminar for work to go to, ended up not being what we thought it would be so we left early and I went shopping. I was able to get the 3 carry on's for the price of 2 at Walmart. Now we all have our own carry on's and hopefully we won't need to check our bags.

I have had some female issues in the past year, they thought I had cancer, so I went thru a lot of tests and 1 surgery last summer, in October had my Gall Bladder taken out and in April of this year had another surgery to have the Novasure, things didn't go as planned, they couldn't do it, so know I am scheduled for a hysterectomy on May 31st. They will be able to do this Roboticly, one night in the hospital and will be good to go for our vacation. With all of this going on, I am trying to get as much done as I can before my surgery, that way I don't have to take kids shopping with me lol

Here are some of the plans I have so far:

Friday at 5 pm-give the kids their books and let them in on some of the surprises (where and how we are going) and then to pack.

Saturday at 3 am-Everyone UP it is time to go to Disney. We should be out the door by 4 am and to the airport by 5. After we get all settled in, we will get breakfast and wait to board the plane. We take off at 7 and land at 9, should be to the resort by 11 (hopefully), then on to the next surprise, checking in CLUB LEVEL (I am the only one who knows this surprise). This day is to relax, hang around the resort and go to DTD for supper at Earls, this is a must for our first night every trip.

Sunday-This is also a day to hang around the resort, we are also going to check out some of the other resorts and probably visit with the In-Laws (outlaws):confused3, we have reservations tonight for dinner at Cape May Cafe (this is husbands second surprise). As you will see, this is more of a relaxing do what we want kind of vacation, if we were doing parks every day, I probably wouldn't have spent the money on Club Level.

Monday-More of the same from Sunday, except dinner we will probably pick something up at a counter service. For lunch I think we will share the kitchen sink.

Tuesday-Epcot Day, we have lunch at Chef's De France for my Daughter. We plan to right Test Track, Soarin and tour the world, kind of laid back since we will be in walking distance.

Wednesday-A relaxing day before leaving to go home, maybe so some laundry and check out some more resorts. I need to go to Movies and Wilderness Lodge to get charms for my charm braclet, hoping to get that done this trip. Dinner will be at Earls again for our normal last night dinner.

Thursday-This is the day we leave, but not until 9 pm, won't need to leave the resort until 5 or so another day at the pool!!!!

Anything you would add?

The kids know they have a surprise when we get to the beach, if our son brings his grades up. They asked for a hint. I told them it was by the Dolphin. There is a gift shop in Myrtle Beach we have gone to called the Gay Dolphin, they think the surprise has something to do with it, but I am actually talking about the Swan and the Dolphin. LOL

Hope your surgery goes well and you have a super-speedy recovery!

Your plans sound great... so cool you're going to surprise everyone with Club Level!
