Hi ya. My family and I, me, 2 adult daughters, adult son, adult sil, grandkids age 9 to 15 are booked for 7 nights in August 2017. We decided to make this a "Dining Trip". We have one ts adr for each of 7 days, and 2 days have 2 adrs. We have Sci-fi lunch, crystal palace dinner, Teppan Edo, CRT, Bog Dinner(late, coffee& desserts) Akersus, fantasmic dining and hopefully TH rol dining and plenty of back up adr's tbd.
This is a big splurge because we will all be together and we havent been all together in a long time.I know we will be chasing adrs each day. The kids have all been to Disney World at least once. And they all seem to enjoy the characters meals . We have 6 day hoppers. Does this seem like too much? Has anyone else have a reunion trip that was food based and can tell me how it went and maybe share some helpful tips with me? With exception of 1 pre rd BOG, we are avoiding early morning adrs. We hope the parks will be open late and we can tour Disney on the "Second Shift". I think we will rd emh the first day, when we are fresh; subsequent days I'm not sure how it will work. Midday will be very hot. Maybe do a couple mornings but mostly close down the parks?
I'd love to hear all your stories of touring with a large group and keeping up w adr's! Thanks!

We are going in March, 8 adults including 2 Disney newbies. We have 1 TS ADR each day. Normally we do 2-3 in a weeklong stay but I wanted the newbies to experience some fun unique restaurants and couldn't decide over an adr every night or more park time. I posted a poll here and most people voted for the adr each day. Besides that, I planned our park days like we always "do Disney". Rope drop through lunch then resort time from around 2-5 each day ( each couple has their own room so can decide for themselves if they want to nap, swim, stay in the parks, etc.). We will meet up again for an early dinner and night time shows in the parks. Of course, as adults anyone can opt out of any part of any day. With large groups you are only as strong as your weakest link so I would rather have someone sleep in or bail early if they are tired. From similar past trips I am expecting we will stick to this plan for the first half of the week and spend more of the day apart the second part of the week.
