We made our own Autograph books for Cheap and it is personalized so the kids LOVE them..
Just thought I would share my idea in case you all wanted a cute autograph book...

I got the books at Walmart back in the crafts dept. It is the scrapbook section.. These were small 6" x 8" books. It has 35 balnk pages..
It is a big enough page for either a big autograph Or like we intend to do.. get the autograph and put a picture with it later of the kids and the character. They were $3.??. I think 3.88 but not sure.. Cheap is all I know ;)

Then I used my print shop and found pictures online (I let the kids pick out what they wanted) and added my text..
Used double sided tape and Done!

ebay

They look great. I would cover the front with clear contact paper so the cute cover won't get watermarks/etc...

Thank you so much for the tip! I was just trying to figure out what I was going to do with my kids. Now where did you get the Disney character pictures again? Sorry..I'm new to this kind of thing. lol

I was thinking of making an autograph book too. Anyone else have any ideas they'd like to share?

My kids used small notebooks, soft cover which they also kept a daily journal. They covered it with Stickers and things they got in the parks. Even the fairy Godmother was impressed when we meet her. :teeth:

I made my boys books w/clipart of the characters. We decorated the front cover with Disney stickers and covered it w/a clear plastic so it wouldnt get dirty and the stickers didnt fall off. Then, on each page I put a clipart picture of a character and then that character signed his or her own page. The characters loved seeing themselves. The CM's would look through the book to see what characters we had found and help us to locate other characters.
:stitch: was great. He took extra time with us and told us (through translation from the CM, :rotfl: ) where we could find some of the other characters we hadnt seen yet. The boys just loved this.
Hope this helps. We are currantly making a new autograph book for our up coming trip at the end of April. I am hoping to see :maleficen this trip. She is my favorite. As you can see under my username. This is our fourth trip and I havent seen her, besides in the parade. If anyone knows where I could find her I would appreciate the help. Thanks. :goodvibes

This is so wierd! I was asking about the clipart or whatever. ANYWAY, then today I got an offer in the mail to join the Disney movie club. Anyway, included was FREE stickers of the Disney Characters! LOL LOL LOL So now I know where our pictures will come from. I'm headed to Walmart in a few minutes to get the stuff for the autograph book AND to pick up some lanyards. I also remember seeing some Disney pens up by the registers. I think I will grab a few of those too.

I'm back from Walmart. The only type of scrapbook they had left was the thick foam scrapbooks. They only had one left after I got the three I needed. They have pretty thick pages. The size is 6x6 and it has 40 pages. I paid $3.88 for them. The actual scapbook part is made of thick, colored foam. The wire is a thick plastic one. Anyway, I'm going to decorate them tonight! I will try to post a picture of them sometime tomorrow. Thanks again for the idea. I think I still came out cheaper. Oh and I grabbed 3 of the light-up disney pens at the register. Unfortunately they do not have a string. They are cute though.

I made the autograph books. Here is the link to the page where they are located:

What do you all think? The book is pretty thick for $3.88, huh? The cover is made of a thick foam. Now, I'm going to put them away for our trip next month. Let me know if you have any problems viewing. Take care! Oh and thanks to the original poster for the idea!

I bought 3 of those books on Thursday and received the Disney movie club stickers yesterday. I'm still trying to figure out the cover's design. I also got those pens to! I didn't buy for my son though, I thought they were too girly with all the feathers on them.

Cool! Post a picture of yours once you make them. I would love to see them.

Oh and my sons loved the pens. They thought it was cool that they light up. One picked the brown Simba and the others wanted Buzz.

Can't promise a picture because I don't know how to post them! I'll see if my oldest son could do it for me - he helps with all my computer needs.

I'll rethink the pens for my ds8 and nephew 4. Nephew loves Buzz!

The other thing that is great about the home made ones is that you can run a string through the binding loops and have the kids wear them around their necks. That way they are always handy and easy to get at.

Less for Mom to carry is always good.

Here are the ones we made. I put modge podge over it to make them sturdier.

Sorry you can't see the writting too well. (To lazy to retake the pictures :rolleyes1 )

AWESOME!!! They look so professional. What is modge podge? I had trouble getting my son's stuff to stick on there. Where can you get modge podge? Oh and thanks for posting the pictures!

Not sure if everyone has a "Big Lots" close-out/overrun store near them, but I have had good luck finding 5 x 7 hard-cover spiral-bound notebooks for DD6 to use as autograph books. I think most of them had the Pooh characters on the front cover. They were 99 cents each and had about 50 pages.
