I can only speak to Gold AP’s. Ours, with extension expire Jun 2021. I have already (last week) renewed as we wanted to book park reservations for 10/1/2021. So we now have vouchers for Jun 2021-Jun 2022.

You were able to renew this early? I thought you could only renew within 60 days of the expiration date?

I have read several reports that because of the park reservation system, they are allowing renewals early.

I’ve read the same, although I believe the posts I’ve seen also stated the person had resort reservations already.

I renewed early too. They allow it if you have to have a reservation past your ticket expiration date. Otherwise you couldn't make park reservations.

That must be what I saw too. You need the room reservation to qualify.

In September DH and I activated new Gold DVC APs that I bought just before they ceased sales. Last month I was able to call DVC and pay for renewals. At the time we did not have any room reservations past September 2021, but they allowed me to renew.

Same for me. No questions about reservations but we do have one 9/28 - 10/3
